I might give your brownies a miss, Raggs :H
Thanks for nudge, Bridge - I started to organise and print but my printer's out of ink. So tomorrow it is.
Loved Kumar on MC. Not so sure any of the current ones will produce anything worthwhile - surely it's all been done to death now by "amachers". It was quite funny last night, but..
(here's the recap MasterChef recap Heaven and Hell week)
Still looking through that guy's photos - he does indeed have some beautiful shots.

Finally...tools down...well...for today...
Blondie that link is funny...watching Kelty procrastinate though is like watching a snail race...these people really can't cook and they are so into being personalities that they just come across as total tools. Bring back Kumar...although he couldn't really cook much either...wtf...could any of them?? :H
Locusts watching Wild Target...adore Bill Nighy....
Rags I can't look at that pic of your teeth...

I've just worked out what the Undies threads remind me of.
You know those skipping games at school where people were turning 2 ropes at once and you had to watch really carefully and try and jump in really fast at exactly the right time or you'd get tangled up in the ropes and fall flat on your face?
Well like that, but faster and more dangerous. There's two ways of looking at the holes in your shoes
You can dig the ventilation... or you can sing the blues
I didn't come this far to only come this far.

And you have to have your skipping rhymes
"Girls go to Mars
To buy more bras.
Boys go to Jupiter
To get more stupider."
And then you yell
""Pepper"" and turn the ropes at snappin' lightnin' speed, hoping to take out that Helen girl and make her face-plant in.front.of her new boyfriend Peter. Oh soooo funny ....

Hi friends. I'm back. I'm safe. I'm exhausted. The hike from the North Kaibab trail was one of the toughest things I've done in some time. Extremely steep, very hot, and too many particulates in the air. You may notice some of the haze in many of the images. All the smoke in the atmosphere made the air quality less than pleasing. I missed you all.
This photo July 5th (14.7km) above rim...
Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Techie my lovely!!!!! Welcome home. Put your feet up, boil the billy and r.e.l.a.x.
I bet there is a certain sense of achievement in completing this trek.
Loved the pics. I watched a doco a wee while back about a woman (accompanied by her dog) who attempted to hike to The Falls on a day trip along but got lost and stayed that way for 15 days - or some ridiculous amount of time. It was in summer. She managed to find a very slow dripping stream of water and would hike out from that point each day to try and escape. Her dog ran off after she screamed at it for spilling the water she had collected in a sunglass case during the day. They both survived, believe it or not. Her dog was found first, then just in the nick of time some locals came across her. Lucky duck!!! I didn't tell you this story previously, for obvious reasons......
I'll let you settle in and get up to speed with the goings on here.
You were missed!!!
Love your guts XXXXIt is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.
