Hi Undies
Well I finally have my lappie sorted so I can use it for posting instead of having to rely on the i-phone. I am pleased to say that I got it done without having to draw on Mr B's expertise so I'm feelig a it pleased with myself.
Not getting much time to catch up with MWO though generally - although everyone sounds good and having fun! I think that my boss has decided that having had 6 weeks away that he can drive me really hard, so I am working some quite long hours getting some projects off the ground. It is taking longer than it would do at home mostly because I'm having to come to grips with some unfamiliar systems and people. I come home very tired and then fall into bed at about 8:30!!
Still feel like I very much in settling in mode ....... realised at the end of last week that I was hating the feeling of living in someone else's house (particularly given that the people whose house I am renting have terrible taste in furnishings and the place is very small, very cluttered and dark and dismal ) so I packed a whole lot of their stuff up into boxes on Saturday afternoon, and went to Target and bought a whole lot of cheap and cheerful cushions and throws and cotton rugs. It has been much nicer over the past two days to come back to bright red and red and white stripes instead of moss green and sienna orange. And Mr B has been here for the last wo days (he went back to NZ this morning) so that cheered me up a bit!
I'm very much enjoying seeing lots of episodes of the Big Bang Theory that I haven't seen before :H I bought myself an "I love Leonard" badge while I was in the US and it is pinned to the front of my rain coat :H:H
Over and out for me for the evening - think I will hunker down under the duvet with my book for a bit and fall asleep Night all!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Getting caught up here....ahh, that was some hike Techie, I'd be huffin and puffin..as for dreams I had some bad ones last night, where I killed a serial killer and her accomplice. Maybe I should turn it into a novel, it would be a better way to make money than the shop, which I am hating.....was driving the kids to Timbuktu and back yest when spied a large turtle crossing the road (they do that alot here) so turned around to put it to the other side bfore it got hit and then a semi came along and smashed it. I just don't understand people sometimes, you can see the turtles from a long way off. I think that is why I had the nightmare...

Well look at me then, I'm still up.
Missy - so glad things are looking brighter.
Birdy - that's just so bloody sad.
Very enjoyable evening with the sparky. The last time he stayed here he was 14. Who would have thunked he'd get so good at 29? Lovely man, ate second helpings, offered to do dishes and buggered off up the hill at 9pm. Perfect. He's a normie and had two beers knowing that he has to bump out at 6am in the morning.
In his lunch pack for tomorrow I have: 3 x shredded steamed chicken, sweet chili mayo, cos lettuce wraps; 2 x blue cheese puff pastries; 2 x OTT choc brownies and 2 mandarins.
I shall sleep well and wish the same for my fellow travellers.
Anyone needing snacks is just going to have to dial-a-bloody-pizza...
Mwah, said with affection of course.

Hello Undies. Has anyone heard from the G-Man? Well, I'm still a tad sore with lots of blisters to heal. I am so glad I had the chance to experience the Grand Canyon from the North side. What did I learn? Well this: There are two situations where it's common for a person to drop to their knees. One provides much-needed relief. The other doesn't.
Love you.Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read
