    I like that. However, I never have a problem with four large pots going at one time. However, I'd trade my griddle for that extra burner.
    Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

        Well well well, here we are then on this cold and wintry Monday evening.

        Sadly, I can't post a pic of my stove. It's too filthy. It also doesn't have a posh name like Ilve, Smeg, Viking ... what's with all this nordic-sounding stuff for stoves?

        Chooks have bonded beautifully. No anticipated bloody battles have taken place. Missy has kindly but firmly executed a targeted peck to the backs of the new ones ... as much as to say ... "get your elbows off the table" or "cover your mouth when you cough". One of the new ones is now called Dot. Still waiting for an inspirational name for the other one.

        Rug up well tonight Undies. Grab an animal if you can.

          Funny you say that, I've got Dog on the lounge and a cat as a hot water bottle...

          I love Dot as a name.

            Glassy - lovely ending to the TdF, non? Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing.

            Nighters, ratbags. Nicey was in charge of the snacks. Blame/thank her.

            I'm in charge of securing the perimeter.

                What about Biddy, as in old biddy as all chickens look like old biddies IMO.

                Jeez this royal baby can't even find it's way down a one way birth canal on time, wonder how it plans to change the world?

                    I've been glued to my Bridgetracker app now for 5 weeks straight. I'm getting nothing done, and me mind is just an endless void of nothingness punctuated by pay t.v. shows like 'Worlds goriest crime scenes' and 'Inside L.A. gang the Cripps'. I'm ditching Bridgetracker, and apps in general! (but i HAVE learnt a lot about growing food, grace, and a few swear words that'd make a sailor blush)

                    Hope school admin sorts themselves out soon Blondie! I start meself friday.

                    Nice stoves Rags and Techie. I'm like you Techie, i much prefer cooking on the barby outside, no matter what the weather.

                    P.S. You might as well call the hen Wendy. I think she's shot off to Bangalore. The pay's likely much better there than the suburban cafe she was working at. :upset:

                      Checking in after a day of being very un-I, but extremely B.

                      Very happy the chookies are making friends. :h

                      Yep Tawny, Le Tour was tres excellent, n;est pas? I guess now I'll have to go back to checking out my local cafes on a Saturday morning to perv at the MAMILs and the AGNIs.

                                I'm buggered. Just finished work for the evening. It is going to be a long week all around and next week too, with some challenging deadlines agreed on my behalf while I was away on holiday.

                                HAven't checked the news - is the royal whipper-snapper on its way?

                                I'm going to climb into my bed and snuggle down with my book.
