Sorry....meant to say, signature means 'know thyself' in (I think) Greek. Having the same thoughts about ending my days here Blondie. Always been a bit conflicted about the area. Another decision to make!

Techie, now that is a stunning area. Is that the nest at the top of that dead tree? Looks very different to your usual hiking areas.

I've gotta say though. It seems like it will be a bit of a walk in the park. Not a huge online study component/work load, and most of the course ties in to what i do on the job at work. Plus, given that one actually finds subject matter interesting, and immediately relevant to where one is at, a bloke's looking forward to it all immensely. :hallo:

Yes different Bridge. We just try and head to the higher elevations in this heat. I hiked in the valley last summer and just do not have the stomach for the heat and 5:30am start times. Payson is on the Mogollon Rim that begins the slow decent into the valley. It's beautiful, remote, and sacred land to the native americans.

Yes, I think I'm missing travel, Mr G, but got my knickers in a twist about flying and leaving dog. Perhaps I'm ready to join the grey nomads

Yummo Techie - Pancetta Prawns followed Carpaccio for me please. Those pics are lovely. The landscape is a lot gentler than your previous trecks. I'm assuming that's an eagles nest?

Not sure yet where I want to end my days but I'm making sure I've got enough stashed for a nice trip to Switzerland.

Cold and gackish here - not even remotely conducive to gardening.
