Underoo's and friends July 2013.

Hi Cindi - was just thinking about you today and wondering how you were getting on!

And you too Corrie.

The only thing that I have to report is that I have now got through two days of being ice-cream free.

There is a new vegetarian sausage place opening up around the corner from me. It has a big sign saying "Opening Soon" but otherwise no-body has ben able to see anything other than the newsprint taped up over the windows. Then yesterday, some of the newsprint came down to reveal ...............a big mounted head of a cow :H:H:H Now why would anyone stick that up in a shop that is going to be selling vegetarian sausages?????? Gave me a good laugh though!!
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

hi all
didnt get back from the drum corp championships till 3 a.m. last night, and the kids have 11 hour band camp today...boy were they hard to get up, but it was a blast. There were 50,000 people there and it was a madhouse...bands were on from 2- 10...you have to be from age 14-21 to play in these things and the auditions are tough...heres a short clip of one band I liked, just click on the pic to play

Morning all,

G'day Bird. Thanks for those clips. The drum corps are amazing. What a huge spectacle for the kids to be involved in. You're a great mum. I hope everyone's hearing will recover! I like the Edinburgh military tattoo as well. Some of the drumming in that is incredible as you'd no doubt be aware.

Morning Mr G, morning all! wow Birdy, those pics are amazing. I guess we don't grasp the enormity of the stadiums until you see it shown like that. How cool!

Being organised and achieving stuff work wise means head down and bum up, so best be off, this is for all of the non ice cream munching, non exercisers who've gotten up and done stuff types:

Hugs to all and hope Nicey doesn't have wrinkles in her birthday suit from too much spa duty... Attached files

Is there a low fat fondue that I could partake of Reg?
Incredible piccies all round folks. That stadium is HUGE. I remember walking into the Sydney Olympic Stadium at the time of the events and it taking my breath away.

Very busy little body here.
Will have a good hard read back this evening.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

y'know, when we had fondue it was bits of meat on the fork and oil in the pot...very tasty and some good family time..very sore and tired tonight...helped with bandcamp after work, lots of walking back and forth from the field and so terribly hot...the kids have fallen out way before bedtime.....I love band camp though. The tiredness and camraderie...it feels good..

Arvo Undies and Internationalists,

What a lovely read back and wonderful links and clips. That Brisbane sunset is spectacular. Birdy - great clips - I really like the one of the boys warming up outside.

Nice to see you posting Corri; a special toe-wiggle for the nekkid Nicey in the tub; sorry I missed Reggiecam beaming more footage of him scratching his bum; Cinders, Glassy, Missy, Rags, Uncle Tom Cobbley and all - I'm waving madly.

Sorry to have been MIA, Undies - I had a bit of a hard time this past week dealing with the horribly sad repercussions of a teen suicide. This wasn't a person known to me personally but some family members have been totally devastated and the ripple effect is just horrible. Not only does this impact on the direct family and friends, the school, the community, in fact their whole town went numb. The funeral was held yesterday. I don't know if this will bring a sense of closure or whether this is a time when the real hurt will begin. The irrefutable realisation that it really is 'for real'.

I struggle with this because on the one hand I have Nigel, at the other end of the age spectrum, forcing out every bit of positive energy he can muster and refusing to pop his clogs and there we had a young bloke who hadn't even started his journey into manhood properly. Just so fusking sad.

Anyway - no replies required. It is what it is. I just wanted to explain my absence in case you were convinced I'd fallen into a pond of gin.

I'm a bit of a Henry Lawson fan and I reckon he wrote this for Oscar (from the poem "Down the River")

"I’ve done with joys an’ misery,
An’ why should I repine?
There’s no one knows the past but me
An’ that ol’ dog o’ mine.
We camp an’ walk an’ camp an’ walk,
An’ find it fairly good;
He can do anything but talk,
An’ he wouldn’t if he could."

Now, get a woolly bull up yers, y'hear, y'all?.

Good to see you back Ms Frog. If only they knew how many people loved them and how much.

Thanks you two. You've been a big help via PM when I didn't want to go public. Throb youse.

So ... what's for dinner?

3 chooks = 3 eggs per day. YAY!!!! Everybody's gettin' laid or somesuch. All's well in the world of the chooks - no fighting - Missy's still the biggest and laying the biggest eggs but mark.my.words ... Joyce is going to be a MAJOR problem. She has issues ... and and undeserved sense of entitlement ...
