    Underoo's and friends July 2013.

    Hello my lovely Undies,

A quick report from the fruzzing HV. Relaxing plenty, animals having much fun, FH not roaring, spa gorgie.....all good.

Tawny - so sorry there was sadness recently.

Rags - I throb your pink chair!!!

I made FH a big pot of pea and ham soup yesty. He'll be eating it for a month!!

Glad to see everyone is ok.

Missy - I ate ice-cream last night......oh well. Back on program today!

Happs - hope shit isn't happening!

    Love you much Reg.

You know, there is something to be said about going on a part nekkid holiday. You hardly have to pack many stuffs..... Bit chilly around my willy today though.

Fire now alight after much effort....bloody wood is green but I doubt the people who manage the cottage would realize. They are thick as two planks.....of green wood.

I've made friends with a little brown frog living under the cover of the spa. He/she respectfully covers her/his eyes when I approach and only uncovers them when I'm full immersed. I like frogs with very nice manners.....

Ok - now fire job done, I'm off for a dip. I haven't seen a falling star yet, nights have been overcast.

    Love and love, Nicey.

Raga. Did you give the big inspirational sprays to the riders as they sped past? Did yer teeth stay in?

        Yo!
Yep, I told them there was a nice downhill bit for them.
Then when they had to come back up another hill (it was a nasty very steep ride), I yelled that I'd just graded and levelled a 700 metre run to the finish for them...
I got lots of "thanks for that" and some smiles..

Missy, I'm going to try to organise making one of those mug labels for Mr Rags' birthday. If successful, I'll make one pour vous two.

Love your fondue story too Glassy. The fondue thing made me remember my sister and her up-to-the-minute dinner parties...every new trend, she was on it...remember those parties where you had the oranges with the coloured onions on toothpicks with cheese? Yep....:H
We did that for Mr Rags' birthday once... the guests thought it was a hoot.

            Hello Corrie,
            That soup sounds very interesting.
            Any chance of the recipe?

Dinner of champions Reggie. I think we need to declare either July or August National Underoo soup month.

                        Broccoli soup with smoked almonds....
Brocc , 1 onion, 2 spuds gently boiled in chook stock and 2 garlic cloves .
Puree with smoked almonds and dollop or 2 of cream to desired thickness.
Whack a piece of brie and some caramelised onion on top, pop under a gorilla (to be inserted af terwards ) to melt cheese. Looks a bit discoloured as the smoked almonds have skins on,, but if you eat it in the dark you won't notice.
                        Get a grilla up ya.

I was just going to ask the same Glassy! (about the smoked almonds that is). Sounds yum Corrie.

And where do I find the "flats" that someone was talking about last week? Looked for them when I did the food shopping on the weekend, but couldn't find them - what section are they in?

Do you do that walk along the cliffs that goes from bondi to bronte? Either way, Have you you seen Clovelly cemetary overlooking the sea on that track? It's wild at night, or anytime really.
Yes, that's the one G, I do it most weekends and you're right it is stunning. I have seen some weird and wonderful sight there at times too. Most unusual one was about 10 years ago when a friend and I were out walking it and came across a coven of about 50-60 witches, having a ceremony or a meeting or whatever it is that witches do :H:H

Now that I've given up ice-cream, I've discovered a really nice mango sorbet. But it's dairy-free so that makes it alright :H

there's some in the freezer if anyone wants a mouthful before they turn in .....
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn
