Well at least I know now where I am in the pecking order.
I get the impression it's all 'for show' d'ya know ? Kinda here we all are - wives in tow kinda thing ......
I will get a taxi to the hospital - see how that goes ...........
Really p***ed off !:upset:
Oh blimey! I can understand Mr S wanting to go to his cousin's funeral satzy, but he could at least still show a bit of sympathy to you as well under the circumstances. Asking you to go to the funeral on the same day as your procedure really is too much! Anyway, I hope things go well for you at the hospital on Thursday. :l Have you got someone to mind you?

I had the option to go from here 3 years ago - but as Mr S was also stopping work that year - I was advised to wait and let him settle into a routine as otherwise we'd be both rattling around with no plans .....
not sure was it the best option - my gut kinda says 'yes' - considering I was also in full flight with daily wine then......
So now I'm waiting ...... waiting ...... waiting ......

Recluse;1530138 wrote: It prolly was for the best that you carried on working if your drinking was at its worst back then satzy. One of the things I've picked up from my reading so far is that you should think about what you're gonna do in retirement well before you actually do retire and then also start DOING those things before you retire. The advice is a bit too late for me, but maybe not for you?
Not too late though for you to pick up on something NOW though ?
Have you a dastardly plan taking form :ey:
