Ooooh errrrr  Mind you the dog won't have her collar on.

I shall be wearing my burkini. Actually they're rather nice.

It could be worse, I could be filing.

Go on Spidey! Time to replenish your vit D

:wavin: Army. Cold and dreary day here - been raining constantly since around 11. Back from weekly shop and budgie collection. The yellow one is especially nice.

Mrs. T and the cubs are headed over to my SIL's for dinner. Luckily they know that I don't go, so I'll be having a quiet evening on my own. Managed to buy 2kg of sour figs from a roadside vendor, so I might start cleaning them. They need to soak overnight before you can cook the jam.

                      :hallo: JC and Molls

I was busy fixing myself a brinner. 2 slices of toasted wholewheat seed loaf, one with a sunny-side up egg, the other with marmalade and cheese.

Sour figs are an indigenous fruit which grow on a type of dune vegetation, Molls. It's a speciality particular to the Cape Peninsula. Quite tart, delicious with something like smoked fish.

Or as Oney would say: little poxfecker

Mrs. T keeps giving away jars of stuff, Molls. I suspect its because she wants to be rid of it, but my ego tries to convince me otherwise :H

                          Evening

In from a spell in the garage. Been hoovering away like a demon. Rather a hot and dusty and cobwebby job, so not one of my favourite pastimes.

I sympathise with you on the teenage son front molly. What's he done this time? Or should that be "What hasn't he done this time?".

I'm bored stiff when I go there, Molls. Her husband and I have zero in common. After all these years she knows I love her but that I don't need to prove it by traipsing along. Mrs. T is fine with it - she's much more family-focused than I am.

It is nice giving stuff away. Our neighbours at the back are frequent recipients. He's retiring this year (65), she's late 50s. Never wanted kids and live a very spartan life. A bit odd, actually. But they always appear to be in need of feeding :H
