Well, real cottages of course. Bit crunchy though.

It's given me an idea for tomorrow nights dinner, any way. I'll have to go set my shepherd traps.

Did you know that cottage pies came about because a farmer called Trevor (yes i know, unusual name for a farmer) had his old 'friend' nigel coming round for dinner with all his family and mates?
There was to be hunnerds of them.
And they ALL wanted Shepherd's Pie.
How could Trevor make SO MUCH Shepherd's Pie?
Simple - he gutted his cottage, popped off the roof, put the stove and open fire on and stuffed his cottage with cows and lambs and gravy and few carrots and onions from his veg plot.
Half a day later - VOILA!
Cottage Pie cooked and ready to serve the masses.
                The End.

Another story from D'Arsey's book of How Things REALLY Came To Be.

Och yer poor wee feet, here, hang on a mo....

Yup, i got a friend who lives in a boat (well he was living there back in the early 2000's and I don;t see that he would have moved... well he might have moved, but he would have moved with his home if you see what i mean!!) there with his partner. Old dutch barge - they bought the shell then built it all up themselves. Like an oasis in the middle of the metropolis - SO quiet when you're on it.

Doing alright. Tiddling along... not much to report. Just musing and thinking and reading and trying to enjoy (and not feel guilty) that i don;t have too much of anyone telling me to do anything at work (ends next week prolly tho!)...

You best put your feet up now and make a brew :l
