I wish!!! This is what happens when you neglect your garden for a couple of years cos of the booze, as I did - the weeds multiply exponentially. Still...the front garden looks presentable now, as does the side of the house and I've made a start on the back.

Glad you had a nice time last night peapie. You seem to be enjoying your time off work. :goodjob:

Goodman yerself Reccie - ye must have a big enuf garden? Wish I did ( When I moved in here I wanted to grow everything- and bought just about every shrub n plant that took me fancy from garden centres as well as taking cuttings from Dad's and others' gardens- knowing rightly I didn't have room for them all Now I've got shrubs in pots that really need planted in the ground but nowhere to plant them!!

Glad you had a nice time last night peapie. You seem to be enjoying your time off work.

I am indeed Reccie - never usually get 2 weeks off together and it really makes a difference in being able to switch-off and put the stresses of the place away for a while.

My dad was exactly the same, puddles. After he died my mum and I spent days getting rid of his junk. None of it ever got used. There was so much of it he couldn't remember what he'd kept and even if he could've remembered, he would never have been able to find it.
This will sound morbid and I dread the day, but when my Dad goes, I absolutely dread having to sort through the stuff he has... He says it is because he was reared post-war and his Mum woulda held onto everything in case it would serve some use which kinda makes sense!

                      Hiya Molls xx

Good to see you've managed to retain your sense of humour in spite of being so busy questie. Hope the new sink tap is cat and dog proof - you wouldn't want the fire to be followed by a flood. Well, maybe you would've, but not several weeks after the event.

Best of luck with the interview tomorrow. :goodluck:

It's not a nice task sweetie, I suppose there is a certain satisfaction in being able to get rid of a great big pile of rubbish and junk and freeing up some space but... . Hopefully it's not something you'll have to deal with for a long time to come.
