    Morning glassy,g, techie.
Thanks for the invite to dinner techie, i love Mexican food.
1st night in new place, i slept on floor to give mum the bed....which she initially argued about....sheesh , 68 and she reckons she's better off on the floor!
Anyway, good thing ....don't have to sit outside for internet, got good reception here in town.
Bad thing...gas stove tried to blow me up last night...kawhoompa!......nearly got my pink fluffy dressing gown on fire!
Do you think there's air in the gas line, that it needs to be bled, or something?
Today i gift myself with a $60 table and 2 chairs, and a $30 set of 3 side tables. Hell bells. Hold the phone. Shabby chic coming back in.

        Afternoon Undies.

Nursing a nasty rub rash here from the rubber doggie suit that Mr G and I purchased from Aspy's missus.

I've got to say Corri, getting 16 days sober together at such a time is exceptionally good work. Being happy with next to nothing is a much better sitch that being miserable with loads.

Hope one and all are having a highly productive and joyous day...

I'm glad you popped in Bridget - I've been sitting here watching the tumbleweeds.

I find sizing is always key to avoid chafing in yer rubber doggie suit. I always end up buying a greyhound size and I'm more of a labrador. And don't forget to generously apply the Bodyglide before putting it on.

              Evening all,
Corri I think you're amazingly strong, it must be so hard. I send you big virtual hugs, friend. Time will make it easier...time & chocolate
I'm off to make pasta with pancetta, mushrooms & zucchini...liberally garnished with fresh parmesan. Found it all in the fridge/pantry.
              Commencing scoffage in 10.

Hi Undies! I haven't done a read back, so I hope everyone is well. Cori - I am in your same situation. I'm about to move out on my own, too. Moving in with family though, so maybe not too scary for me. Techie, I'm with G - fajitas look good. Tell them that cumin and cayenne will make their guac extra yummy.

Not much new here. In a holding pattern until October when my company tells me if they'll force me to move or not. I expect they will, so I will probably go. It's for the best.
Well it's all right now. I've learned my lesson well. You see you can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself.

                  Morning all,

Hiya Siren. Are you saying you might be losing your job? You really liked that work didn't you? Any idea what path you might take if it happens? Good to see you as always. Take it easy.

More shenanigans at work. Geez they are thick. The subtle harrassment is easy to see through. I'm going to have to kick some ass in a measured way. I really want to plant the boot fairly and squarely.

Have a pearler out there Team rotorooter! Not long till spring now.

                    Morning Pundies,

Sending good thoughts to all who need them.

Cori - fantastic that you're getting through this stage without the dreaded grog.

Gang - I'm going to be a bit scarce for the next few days - working on a huge project which I want to complete by the weekend. So it's head down and arse up and no woolly bulls either ...

                    Much throbbage.

Shit and shinola g bloke, work sounds a tad stressful...bring out your best steel toed boots then and make sure you polish the tips with chilli paste.
Dawn of day 19. Been feeling ok about it, other things obviously on my mind.

Siren, i think any sort of separation process is scary, so we might have to help each other, yes?
I've got a group thing happening today, not sure how it'll go. Based on relationship issues such as emotional, physical and verbal abuse, dependant relationships, toxic relationships etc, intertwined with issues of drug +/- alcohol misuse. I think. Maybe. Actually, got really no idea. All i know is my counsellor in this group is called Paul. That's as far as i am certain about, and will let you all know tonight about it.
All moved in now. Feels very strange.
The town will no doubt be all buzzing quite soon.
Hope all have good day today.

No, I'll just have to move house to be able to keep doing it. They need me for the short term, anyway. I do love the work. I know people shame on big pharma, but I love that what I do helps people.

Moving to another state where I don't have family or friends - scary. But it could be good too.

So Rags does the shoulder injury mean an end to the shooting goals you had?

                          ...

Oh bugger! You just reminded me I haven't backed up anything for about 2 months!

Looking at the tear, it seems I've been using all my supporting muscles to the max to lift my arm up, plus there's a sort of break in the clavicle as well.
No wonder it bloody hurts..... but.....
                          being positive about the shoulder.
Yes it has really stuffed up my goals.
However had a cortisone injection to-day which will start to kick in on Friday or Sat
and will back up with some Nurofen..
My plan at the Murrumbidgee Open this weekend is to concentrate on technique and accept anything that falls in the black part of the target.
My overall aim is not to count the score. you can never tell on the day who can beat you.
My aim is to improve my technique so that I shoot consistent small groups on demand under stress conditions.
If I KNOW both consciously and subconsciously that I will be able to raise my arm and it will be pain free, that is going to be a huge psychological barrier lifted.
So yes, I'm going to be in the State titles and if my arm is OK and I'm exercising
and training well then I should do well on the day.

                          Hi there Glassy,
Well, that's very encouraging news that you've had success with cortisone.
Hope it will help me too.
There's a large full thickness tear in my supraspinatus and lots of inflammation and some degeneration in surrounding tissue.
Going to doctor tomorrow to see what can be done other than anti-inflammatories.
                          Maybe micro surgery?
I love all the techno talk in the report which is pretty meaningless to me.

                          Day 16 finished.

Moved into my rental today, fricken scared i am. So unsure of the future, personally, financially, it is totally overwhelming.
                          .
                          Hey there Corrie,
The scaries is because it's got to be way out of your comfort zone.
I guess it comes down to fear of the unknown, and our HUGE imagination.
I reckon you'll be fine. Give yourself time to adjust and settle in to all the new stuff happening to you and around you.
Day sixteen... that is a great milestone for you.

If it keeps happening, ring the agent and arrange a gas fitter to take a look.
Make sure you tell the agent he must be freshly shaven, wearing respectable clothing with long inside legged shorts, and a freshly ironed neatly buttoned poly/cotton shirt.

Well, almost. Tawny's probably doesn't have the little break in it.
