    Morning Happs and all to come,

    Pissing down here and cold.

    I've often looked at those container houses after a mate sunk one into the side of a hill as a fire shelter. I think they're brilliant. Some of the designs are stunning.

    Don't know what the week will bring - Nige is driving me bonkers. He's not once complained about the cancer or the stroke but give him one little snivelly cold and the moaning is unbefuskinglievable.

      Tawny I looove the idea of building a home in a container or 2. Poor Nigel, maybe he'd like a warm water with lemon & honey. There's the kettle, there's a lemon Nig...you can do it.
      Missy if I didn't have to work yesty I woulda walked with you...maybe next year.
      Techie, the photos are lovely, love that little log cabin.
      Ok people, breakfast quinoa fanged & a wedding dress awaits in the stoodio.

        Throw a stack of ginger in with the lemon and honey, that'll do the trick...

        Knew you'd know someone re the container homes Tawny. He's finding it really interesting, doing his budget - very unusual - and working through heating and cooling now. Although the bugger has taken over my Pinterest...

        Cakes the wedding industry must be busy if you're working on a Sunday. Spring is defo in the air, 29 degrees they say it'll be up here today...

          Good Morning little ones!

          It's all happening at Chez Jones today folks.
          The sun is shining, there are changes afoot.
          Poor Nig. Truth of the matter is, your average cold/flu is just as uncomfortable as some much more serious things.

          I want a stoodio like cakes.....

                    Geeeees, you banana-benders ... it's 11C down here and my assets have well and truly been frozen off.

                    Happs - re the containers insulation/heating issues ... I always thought if I'd do one I'd wrap the whole thing in straw bales thererby not decreasing the interior area. Fantastic thermal mass ... but as y'all know, I'm a straw bale tragic.

                    Glassy - what are you doing with your sickie? Hope it's not study ...

                    Always lovely to see Grinder popping in.

                            :upset: Aaargh!!! I think I might have to post in the *%^$%&+&%$@%$ thread.

                            Not counting my ridiculously high mortgage and the fact that Bella and I would like to eat at least a couple of times a day, I just worked out that my other bills come to well over $2300 this month.
