    Evening all,

    Good to see you KT!

Sorry to hear that Rags. Hope you're okay there. Had a funeral last week. Diamond of a bloke. Big boofy rambling horse riding, bike riding excavator operating country living man of few words. I didn't know whether he liked me or not for a couple of years until he looked at me at a gig one night shaking his head and chuckling.....'So ya forgot your guitar again G you dickhead....' First time he smiled at me. Just a top genuine fairdinkum bloke who'd do anything for anyone. He was 49. (cancer)

Well, i didn't resign today, and ain't going to for now. I've requested a reduction in heures, i.e. 2 days unpaid leave per week for 12 months, so i'm proposing i work 1 day per week, plus remain at the every 2nd weekend job. Reason/purpose is so i can better handle full time study load, and be a better asset to the organisation etc. Lot's of folk do this don't they? I'll be elated if they agree. Study load in reality isn't looking to be too much. I love the job and it's possibilities so much, that i reckon i'll be able to tolerate DH manager once a week, not that i'll see a lot of them. Everyone's a winner!

How is everyone? How r u going Cozza?

    Hi Missy!

Yep . Measure twice, cut once Mr G. I've taken part time leave without pay myself over an extended period of time. Nobody is disadvantaged.

Sorry to hear about your mate Rags. You certainly are having a bit of a bad run in that respect. Let's hope this is the end of that cycle.

I'm with Froglette. It's into bed with meself early tonight. (well, I'm not with Froglette)
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Yes Bridge. Well, i'm hoping they'll agree. They do brag they're right behind staff development etc....Sweet dreams my friend.

        Noight all.

            Morning all,

Jump in that pool Bird! It''s 13c here and i'm still diving into the bay. I love it. Sad when our friends aren't fairing too well. The booze, smokes, and regular crap diet are often behind a lot of folks' poor health when they get a bit older, though i'm not suggesting this is the case with your friend Bird. May they recover their health and live to a ripe old age.

Orf to a mental health conference at the convention centre today. Should be food and chicks, and eeedgit's, but i'm expecting to hear some interesting speakers too. A bit of an opportunity to swan around and work the room re me new website/project too.

Have a beautiful day y'all. Think positive, don't take stuff too seriously, and just enjoy yourselves.

Well good morning at last Undies.
Comedy of errors here today involving the dog making good her escape through a small window of garage door open-ness at 6am.

I'm pretty sure she was heading for Happs place in Brisbane, and she almost made it.

A conference day away sounds a perfect respite Mr G. Good luck with the LWOP application. I hope you hear soon.

Good to see the embrace-ment of yoga. Been having a little dally myself.

Anyway, on return from Brisbane I have pretty much cleaned the house from top to bottom and all before 9am, so no harm, no foul.

I'm going to Wellington after work on Friday, for the weekend. Can't wait to cuddle up with Wookie and Betty. And yes Bird - they are cats!!

Thanks for the hug Missy. I'm OK.
                      Have a beaut weekend.

                      Hi Mr G.
That sounds like a much better arrangement for you. I must admit I was a bit concerned how you'd make ends meet.
I went on PPT (Permanent Part Time) for about 12 months and it worked well for me. Did an extra hour and a half a day when I was there. I worked 3 days a week and
only losing about 8 hours pay a week. I loved it. The extra work time didn't interfere at all.
Any chance you can work some extra hours the days you are there?

                      Hi Birdy,
Probably to everyone's disgust, I use the dryer quite a bit. Cuts down the amount of ironing dramatically. Haven't costed it, but I reckon I save on ironing time and the leccy the iron would use.

For any of you into folk music John Dengate died last week.
I trolled trying to find a few of his funnier songs. The only one I could find was this.
He was a very funny man.

                          Hi there my fav peeps.

                          Hugs to Tabbers!

                          Where's Reg and Techie??

Mr G - here's my mighty salute to you. I hope all your plans come true and make your heart glad.

Thanks for the offer of a bed Rags - maybe one day I'll take you up on that. I'd love to meet ya - really! I'm sorry to hear about your mate. Big hug for you :l

Tawny - Oscar asked me this morning if today was your 'free' day. I replied "indeed it is my boy". He smiled..... Dog I adore that dog!!!

Missy - how lovely - a trip home to spesh hugs.

Waving to all others.....man, aren't we a big crew now?? Noice.....

My philosophy in life (and I think I've mentioned it before) is - it is, as it is. I'm not going to make the home situ a big deal or consume me in any way. I'll close the circle of trust and get on with stuff. No biggie....break ups don't actually kill you dead. I'll be A OK. Nuff said.

So, today is the.last.day.of.exams. Thank fusk for that is all I can say. I'm totally zorsted and miss wearing my heels. I'm rushing around so much I've had to wear flats :upset:

Tomorrow I'm coming to work in my 9" button up boots to celebrate!!! I might even let the girls out if it isn't too cold......:H

And, I'm POE today to take my boy for a play in the park and then a walk. I might even let Lady Dharma come along if she's not in a mood when I get home.

Love to all and remember - hatred is diminished by love, love and more love.
It is not what we do, but how much love we put into the doing.

Dear paranoid people who check behind their shower curtains for murderers. If you find one, what?s your plan?

If you love somebody let them go?? If they come back it proves no-one else wants them.

Didn't get a 'free' day - Nigel's Play Group went on an Excursion and some of the other mothers .... geesh ***rolls eyes*** ... so we cancelled.
