My Opto, (sigh, who wears the most crisply ironed shirts and ties that outdo Kevin Rudd's) is organising a lens for me.
I also said he has to come round to our place for dinner before the end of 2013.

snap dragons, marigolds and pansy's, 7m X.6m flower bed.
1m of soil, all shovels and planted in 3 hours with 70 plants.
      pics to follow.
mummy was super impressed, she was expecting a bunch of cheap flowers from the IGA.
the bed was not in full sun so we amended the plan.
      Aspy,
      That is lovely!
Snap dragons was the name of the plant I was trying to remember for you a couple of weeks ago. I love them.

Please show us some photos when you can.

This bed takes up the whole front of our house, 7 M wide. there were 70 plants in total and we all three of us fell very pleased with ourselves after.
i just have to stop the kids from drowning them now, watering them in is the new fad

              Aspy,
that is going to look absolutely stunning in a few weeks.

I think the kiddies will get a buzz when they water the plants and see them grow and flower before their eyes.
I hadn't thought of planting marigolds with pansies... they look so good together.

Cheeses Aspy ... are you going for the Hubby of the Year Award? I bet the missus was stoked. What a lovely thing to do. Hope the tackers will continue to enjoy looking after the plants ... bugger the excess water bill. Hey - did you ever have a look at the mushroom kit for the kiddos?

Now ... on reading back, Glassy - I think you should consider making some offerings to Lares and Penates, the Household Gods - and yes, perhaps a new topic in the 'What We Believe" section would be appropriate.

In other news - good people are all around us. A bloke I don't very well at all dropped in today to say he'd noticed my car at the mechanics last Friday was still there today. Did I need a lift to do some shopping or get mail etc? Bloody lovely.

No. You happen to show up in my recurring dreams. There are bears, heat, and something I can't quite describe. This calls for a Mr. G analysis or perhaps a priest.

Nup. Too late for a priest, I'm sorry to say. All that hikin', runnin', cyclin', swimmin', courtin' thing has finally taken its toll.

                          So sad.
