Glassy, I'm also a trying-to-be-reformed salt-aholic. I'm using Lemon and Pepper seasoning instead, especially on things that already have added salt in them. I don't feel guilty putting a small bit of real salt on meat and vegetables, but do use the L&P on them when I can.

Hello, Roos!!
I just wanted to throw out a recommendation for a new book I am reading. The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty. It is written by an Aussie author, my first clue being a reference to someone eating Vegemite sandwiches. Have any of you heard of this author or this book?
This is the first book in a very long time that has captured me and entranced me as well as this one has. I am about half way through and am trying to read in small spurts so I don't finish it all today. I will be sad as replacing it will be difficult for me.
I hope you are okay, TF. I saw the hugs to you.
I am not looking forward to losing summer here. We haven't had one properly. It has rained almost all summer. Although, fall here is amazingly beautiful, I have fingers crossed this year is no exception.
Love,
CindiAF April 9, 2016

Morning all,
Hi Cinders - yes Liane is an aussie but I haven't read any of her books yet. Glad you can recommend The Husband's Secret. I'm fine, it's just those horrible Queenslanders gloating about their tropical weather who are giving me the irritations.
I will be warm again. One day ...

Morning all! my confession...I've never read any Tim Winton...going to fix that this holidays...also saw that they're releasing a movie of his short stories called The Turning. Supposed to be brilliant.
Going to yoga now, will be busting a gut trying to work out what Missy's secret is...
