Still down in me Dad's- tinternet connection at tad dodgy!

Sun is shining and we are just waiting for me cousin to land with her 3 gorgeous n lively wee boys then we are taking to the hills for the day :yay:

Did I ever tell yis me Dad's neighbours have free-range chooks who free-range their way into his garden?! One has just 'announced' her offering of rent! There are at least 3 of them using his garden to lay! Tis great. Guess who's heading back to the big-smoke with lots of yummy eggs?!

Morning army another muggy humid day here. No rain yet but the sun is in and out similar to yesterday. Hiya Tabbers gud to see you here. Enjoy your day off. Used to some hill walking and easy trail hikes but I don't have anyone to go with now and not great at doing it alone. Anyway enjoy the day with the kiddies and family sweetpea. Enjoy your swim Molly I haven't been swimming in yonks either despite a new pool opening up here last year i'm lazy when it comes to exercise type activities. Are still you going swimming Tabbers? Not much planned here today. Also have to do some hovering and I didn't get around to doing the food shopping yesterday as it got showery and windy so that's where I'm headed soon asi shower and dress. Just going to local Tesco today. Forgot it was a bank holiday here this weekend. Anyways have a fab Friday be back later.:wavin:

Not officially back til Thursday but going in on Monday to cover the late shift as they're stuck. Don't wanna go back!:upset:

I intend doing as little as possible in between the compulsory suburban chores. Plus I was given a kilo of roasted cashew nuts yesterday. I want to see if I can make some brittle.

Good to see Tabbers and was that D'Arsey I spotted... :l It's good to see you posting hon.

Tabbers... thanks for the "heads up" on Beth Hart. I'd never heard of her and she is excellent... have it blasting right now. She even drops the F-bomb... perfick! (Have you listened to Cara Emerald? A different style to Beth Hart but you might like her...)

Today is National Bum Day chez Zens... I have taken it upon myself to do sweet FA. I haven't had a bum day this year so far and today's the feckin day! Couch... Netflix... laptop... talking book... snacks. Going to pile up the coffee table with everything I need and SLOB!!!!!

They're digging my yard up to lay Comcast cable at the mo... might just pull a chair up and watch the action while I do nowt... :H They're actually making me feel guilty and I went and put a load of laundry on. Feckers turning up with their digging action while I'm trying to slob....
