Yeah, mechanics are a noightmare. This one is quite fair though. Yer wan indoors drove up to his garage in a panic one day as he'd just heard a kitten miaowing from inside the chassis of the car. The mechanic put the car on the lift and rescued the kitten and took him home to his wife... and they subsequently got another kitten to keep the first one company. So if he rips us off that would be a feckin shame. ( You never know though... I think it's in their blood... they can't help themselves type deal! :H

If you're paying cash then he should give you money off, no?

Turquoise ones, top left hand side... I gotz dibs on dem.

Trying to decide what to pull out of the freezer. Think I'm going to make tilapia (flat white fish, not to be confused with flat shite fish) in a fresh (organic!) tomato, onion, black olives & caper sauce.

I was going to go to the mall with my two vouchers for free nickers from Victoria's Secret but Cindi called and we yapped so long I am spared the trauma of the mall... thankfully.

OK... 'scuse the size of the photies, can't be arsed learning how to resize them on Photobucket.

Basically, Reccy, my bedroom has two fricken doors. Actually, it's got 6 plus the one into the ensuite bog which makes 7. The people before me had what should have been a porch turned into a room off my bedroom (which is now the dining room), and they put plantation shutters on the opening that had been the sliding doors to the porch. Well... my bedroom's like a feckin walk through hall. So, I need a wall where the plantation shutters are and I'm making it out of glass block so there will be natural light in the bedroom (it has no window as it used to have the sliding glass doors to the porch...)

Hard to describe, so...

Plantation shutters open... and as you can see there's the "real" door straight across from them.



Plantation shutters closed...



The dining room's off the sitting room and the bedroom is off the dining room and it's all feckin open plan! And a girl likes a bit of privacy ya know...
