Also RC I agree that moving up the ladder to 'success' should not automatically mean moving into management.
I have known very talented school teachers who then became 'just' principles ( no teaching ) - but were miserable in management.
I know a peer in here who when moved up grade became manager but HATED it and were CRAP at it. took a demotion they were so unhappy.
Grafters need to be grafters and let othose with the talent for it be the management side of things.
USE PEOPLE FECKIN' TALENTS CORRECTLY !!!
Agreed - but then there is also that pervasive (perhaps my cynical) aspect that says "don;t think, just do, we have it under control" Like big bro is controling how we thing and we shouldn't aspire to greatness because that's just silly. So get yer head down, do your graft, get home, crack open a beer (7up, iced tea, cuppa tea, glass of milk or something else altogether!) and chill guys.
And i know that's a stoopid way to look at things. I just am trying to figure out WHAT my feckin talents are and then to apply them. I still think about that quote you put up a few days back and i copied and pasted onto Stella. That resonates. Like sexy deep om'ing, or humming. Check this out (total change of subject... unless yer Charlie:H)

Norwalk think - wud have drifted into management at a time when no one wanted the jobs - is he comfortable - hell no!! He's hugely unpopular - but i quite like him - but no the Charlie's of this world shud NOT b in management - it must completely wreck his zen head!

Also, which is a worse, a planned fire drill where everyone is prepared, or unexpected fire alarms going off and nobody even getting up from their desk? That's what happens here!:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

My foot is officially HEALED! I am (as of today) back in normal shoes and walking without any sort of a limp...or even much pain! I kinda had to fight the doctor and tell her that the surgery shoe she had me wearing was causing more damage than helping, so she released me from it. I feel like a real person again...she did tell me not to run for at least 3 more weeks, and I said "Uh yeah, I'll try to refrain" LOL (I am not a RUNNER! LOL):heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:
