My running is going well, thanks! 5 runs in 8 days so far, and I was unwell for 2/3 of those days. Only 2.2 miles each time, but I'll increase that as soon as I'm a bit fitter. I actually look forward to getting out at the mo, although I'm gonna rest today. You don't have to get up early, BTW, you can run at any time, but there're fewer folks around if you're up early.

Will the physio at work be able to help you with your aches and pains or is this going to be a long-term problem? What does she say about gym?
    Thanks Reccie:
    • Very Very Early to me is about 8am :HIf I could just get up & run 2.2 miles I'd be delighted.
    Now my aches are twofold.
There is the hands which are due to strain from typing and I have an Ergo assessment in the morning and see the physio on Wednesday.
The aches everywhere else but I am putting it down to the "use it or lose it " theory. I literally did NOTHING last week and got achey even after a bit of shopping yesterday. Every muscle pure tired.
So I really do not know
Any ideas -either good or bad are welcome - or is it old age - that I REFUSE to give in to :H

Now I don't know if this has any bearing on what you are talking about -- the 'use it or lose it' bit jogged my head ---- the cleaner in Rush - she's a real grafter --- pounds the place with the hoover etc. --- but she was telling me when she went to visit her son earlier in the year --- she was away for 3 weeks and her arms (particularly her right arm) was WAY more than aching --- she said she was actually in pain --- the doc or whoever she spoke to said it was the muscles in her arms protesting at the lack of hoovering..... cud it be the same with the gym stuff??
I ACTUALLY thought that Molls - but thought it was MAD !!!
Thanks - feel better now :l
