Reccy, huge congrats to your niece and nephew.
Of course you realise tomorrow's papers will be full of how easy the exams are these days tomorrow.
I'd like to see one journalist live in a house of teenagers studying, sitting and waiting for their exams results to still have their marbles after 6 months.

4As, 4Bs,3Cs in her GCSE's. She's a bit dissappointed in her 3Cs but she got the 4A's in the subjects she's taking for A level.

Hello everyone

Exam results?

Seen the relief on a parent's face today, never realised how stressful it was for them. My parents at that time were very much wrapped up in their own problems, and I know so which is what kicked me off to the pub................

Anyways read a few of Running's posts and made me think a bit.

I used a med that allowed me to drink without being 'addicted' or driven to it.

I then decided to go AF anyway because it simply didn't enhance my life one bit. For a while it was lovely to be able to accept a drink, get drunk occasionally but it took me 2 years to work out I didn't actually really like it. I felt much better in social situations AF, than the times when I had a glass or two of alcoholic drink. In fact when I drank alcohol I'd feel really self-conscious, I was really aware of how it affected my behaviour, starting slurring or forgetting the occasional word, wasn't as quick or co-ordinated as usual and I'm not talking loads of booze either.
