Och well, here's a good one to kick off with. :H WI had two brothers and a sister (one brother subsequently passed away) and they were well into their 40s when they suddenly found out that two of them came from a different father. WI and the one that passed belonged to their "real" dad and the two eldest had been from a previous marriage that they knew nothing about. When BOWI that was here this weekend called deceased bro to tell him the news, deceased bro said "Thank God that's all it is... thought you were going to tell me you're gay"! :H

Elder siblings were rightfully a tad annoyed at learning their dad's not their dad. Must ask them what the real dad is like...

My MIL was literally on her deathbed - we were in the hospital room the day she died - when my SIL says 'she always loved you'

I have to say, me own Ma is a bit of a mystery inasmuch as I have no clue what went on with her and my Da... she'll never talk about it. The only Intel I have is from my uncle who stayed with them in Detroit for 6 months before we went to Scotland. He says they fought like cat & dog and drank shite loads. And that my Ma was feeling trapped with a baby (moi) and no driving license. My earliest memory is of her covered in blood... that's before she packed a couple of cases and took off with me. What she did was illegal as she basically stole me from my dad. Gawd! Feckin families!!!
