Poor PeaPod. Sounds like you need a :l
Thank feck the week is over :woot: The rain let up a bit, so at least the drive home was reasonable. Don't tgink I have the energy to make dinner, though. Mmmmmmmm.... I'm thinking Thai takeout could be good.
Oh! And I almost forgot. Good news: the CEO of the company I work for announced we're all getting a special bonus at the end of next month. We came out tops in our industry sector for the 3rd year in a row in an annual "Top Brands" survey amongst consumers. Not much after taxes, but enough to cover a lavish dinner for the 5 of us. :woot:I'll do whatever it takes

mollyka;1550172 wrote: Sometimes you just need to step back Peapie -- I know I have this week - took a week off and being pretty much self-indulgent - if I took on all the shite that I should be taking on -- housework, paper-work etc. I would just get a dose of the 'poor-me's' without a doubt. Obviously you'll need to wear SOMETHING to the wedding -- you sure you haven't some plain sort of dress that you could accessorize up madly?
And I'm sure your Dad would understand if you can't make it down -- just explain it to him like you have to us.......
Joey's ok at the moment - he got the ultimatum last Monday and he's like a lamb ever since..... AND he's working Sat and Sun so at least this weekend doesn't have to be worried about -- it is a worry - but I'm coping a bit better now
Well - sounds like you're managing your stress better then:H:H
Can you re-do your Uni Registration?
Currently searching through the wardrobe for a dress that haven't wore to me Mum's side of family weddings previous!! Prob is I cant mind which dresses I wore to which weddings- have far too many feckin cousins is the prob and cause Mum no longer here- I get invited to all the weddings of her side with me Dad! Used to love weddings and the craic now absolutely dread them. Have started the ol laundry now too so making some headway! And yeah, Dad will understand me no calling down- just I feel awful guilty bout it
As Molls says YouKay- can ye re-do the application? Can identify with the disappearing into a bottle act- was my way of coping (not!) for years! When would emerge probs would still be there with added probs of anxiety and guilt and shame from booze!
