But at least we have identified our problem and do something about it.
Only time I've had tan streak was when I applied it and didn't spend time rubbing it in. If you follow the preparation properly, exfoliate, shave no closer than 24 hours before, go make-up and jewelry free, have a shower with plain soap or gel and don't apply body lotion or perfume - they'll put some unreactive stuff on elbows, knees, hands and feet. Wear loose clothes. Another tip is when the 6 hours or whatever is up just shower with water, no soap and pat skin dry with towel, don't rub. Oh and watch out for labels in clothing, I wore some trackies with a rubberised label which left a green patch!

Sounds complicated doesn't it, all for a tan!

        Hi Folks

Good luck with the tan, my one and only spray tan was a disaster but then I was drunk when it I had it and God knows what I did in the time immediately aferwards so possibly my own fault :H

Hope you get sorted with the pup Reccie, not had time to read back and didn't make it here at all yesterday due to helping son #2 move into his new house. Still totally shattered from all the running about so nice easy day reading here and doing nothing more than taking the hound out.

          :hallo: again folksies

They didn't have mum's preferred phone in stock, but we've done all the paperwork, so I can just go and collect in the week. Gas bottles refilled, shopping done, wood bought but not yet stacked. Want to get tonights dinner assembled and put in oven at low temp. Beef short rib with all sorts of spices. Needs to braise slowly for at least 5 hours. I'll roast some butternuts at the same time to save some electricity.

Reccie: be Scottish about this. Demand a partial refund fron the breeder. Then spend the extra cash on Amy, who won't even know her tail is a bit shorter than it should be. There's an added bonus to that: she'll be less prone to knocking things off coffee and side tables

Wonder how D'Arsey is getting along with his farewell to the sprogs.

Reckon JC made herself and Sir Pee some bacon for breccie?
          I'll do whatever it takes

              Marnin/arvo!

Tipps... I just became exhausted reading your first post. Glad that?s your workload today and not mine! And what the feck is with this ?be Scottish? thing to Reccy?! Eh?! Cheeky fecker!

Reccy? That must have been a bit distressing for you about the tail? I?d have had a fit myself. ( It doesn?t really matter though? she doesn?t need the end of her tail and she?ll be just as lovely. I understand about you wanting the breeder to offer? I was in a similar situation with Hamish remember? I was sick of cats dying young and paid for the last two instead of getting them from the pound and along comes Hamish with gingivitis (which is all cured now btw). I think you should ask her to pay the Vet bill and try for a partial refund (but good luck with that in my experience). Just get what you can out of her. LOL... when my breeder offered to take Hamish back it was like "Oh HEYALL no!" :H

Sweety? Glad your cousin and the bairn are doing good. )

YouKayBee? How long does that spray tan last for? It?s too hot to get sun here at this time of year so I?ve been using a l?Oreal fake tan on my legs and sometimes arms/shoulders/decollage (!!!). Maybe I should try one of them spray thingos? One of my mates had it done but they didn?t get under her boobs so she had white patches? :egad:

Satz? I fancy a holliers? a bit jealous over here!!! )

              *waves* Yoo hoooo a?body else!

:H Aye but yer a man. 'Tis different for us wimmin! We have to get all tanned-up to attract the likes of yiz. Hmmmmm.... I think I need to ruminate on this a bit.... :H

Real lazy morning? just about to get in the shower. Going out with her wot lives next door to get a pedicure and eyebrow wax, then lunch, then a spot of shopping. We?re pretending to be ?women that lunch? today! No spray tans tho!

Sounds like a lekker day, ZennieButt

Beef short rib is smelling divine - onions, garlic, ginger, chillies, soy sauce, coriander, jeera, cardamom, orange rind, red wine vinegar, honey... All coming together nicely.

Zen the tan only lasts as long as the put on at home stuff. Have you tried Fake Bake?it's expensive but a lot better than the cheaper brands. Goes on a lot better & a more natural colour.

This was a treat & yer mate needs to lift her boobs up, being shy = white lines.

                                Ello Ms Pantalloonies,

Och today was fine. Me ex-boss was in too. I decided i would not go up to the office and stay down stairs in the arts centre (cos i don't work there, mind!) and so some work... and me ex-boss says, "oh can i come and join you and do some work"... i mean it was ok really, cos she's no longer me boss, but still, ehm, odd... funniest thing was when a dad came over (never spoke to him ever) and he thanks for all the work ive done with his boy and how much his lad's changed for the better and has got from the classes. SOOOO glad me ex-boss was there to hear that.

                                How's liff with you there?
