    Good morning, folksies

Lots to do today. Taking mum to have her cellphone upgraded, shuttling the cubs, gas bottle run, get wood for the fireplace, the weekly shop, and then having people over for dinner.

    Have a lekker Saturday!

My Mother has a cat which had it's tail removed AND a whole leg too. Still hopping around tot this day.

We had no water at 6am this morning, now it's a brown colour so using bottled water from the corner shop in the kettle.

Bin for a spray tan, then just hanging around til it settles afterwhich I'll put some proper clothing on and go to see a local international street performance festival. Should be a laugh or two to be had:H

              Morning Army!

Good to see you all looking in fine fettle this am!

I'm sat at my desk with the sun blazing through the window - enjoying a coffee..good times!

Not doing much today except some writing and watching films. I would sunbathe but I really don't feel like being in the park with all the other drinkers today

Lovely weather, yes can identify with you there EW. Last Sunday there was some music on at a local arts centre, I knew it would be full of people all dolled up, drinking, but me and my mum wanted to sit and chat so we purposely sat at a cafe just round the corner so we could hear the band, but not have the drinkers in our faces. Then some bloke went to the bar in the cafe, plonked drinks down on our table whilst he got a tray. One of the dangers I suppose but apart from that was glad to be a bit out of the way like that but without being completely isolated.

Yeah it is hard. I don't think people realise who don't have an issue with drink. It really is everywhere and everything us Brits seem to do socially involves a bloody pint!

                      Hi FF

Yes seems ok I sometimes use my own special formula for their spray gun, this one is a bit more of a golden colour. It's ok but you need to have a free day because you can't shower, sweat or wear tight clothing for 4-6 hours afterwards. I'd recommend having a trial run first and not wearing the underwear - end up with daft lines, ok if you are covered up but not if you are going to be wearing a bikini. Oh and make sure they get that bit under your bum!:H

                          Good afternoon army

another hasty post before the young madam has to be taken outside to relieve herself yet again.

I hope your last half-day goes well arsey, and your last full day too inchy. I imagine you'll both have mixed emotions about it.

Your hotel looks dead posh satz - bet you'll have a whale of a time in Portugal.

Congratulations on making it to a whole calendar month uk bee :goodjob: Are you aiming to stop for good now?

Great news about your cousin and her baby, peapie. Sorry you're tired. I can empathise with you over the messy house - mine is too. :upset:

Good to hear joey's behaving himself molly - long may it continue. 10 tons of fuel? Blimey, that should last you a little while, I would think? When'll you be getting the stove?

Well done on the bonus, tips. A meal out for the family sounds like a great idea. :goodjob:

Hi foxy, EW and anyone else around.

Re amy, the reason I'm a bit disappointed about her tail is cos I did everything I could to ensure I ended up with a healthy and happy puppy by getting her from a reputable breeder. The vet thinks the damage to her tail was caused by a play bite by one of her many siblings. I doubt the breeder knew anything about it. I'm still waiting to hear back from her. I would like the her to offer to take amy back. I don't actually want to take amy back cos we're getting along nicely together - I just want the breeder to make the offer. That probably won't make any sense to anyone. I'm afraid puppy pics will be in short supply for a little while on account of the lack of a camera. My mum's offered to lend me hers when we go to visit her in a week or two. The breeder took one or two pics - I'll try and post them later.

                          Hope everyone's having agreat Saturday.

I think this is an opportunity, pets don't have to be perfect and Amy's got you now and you her. If it had been noticed earlier, well she might have been left out and it's not her fault.

Yeah I might do that ukb need to try it out in case i'm not happy with it or it goes streaky which happened to a friend of mine who got it done a few months ago but I don't think she followed instructions properly. Yes its the same in Ireland everything revolves around drink it does make it tough and there are lots of people with alcohol issues in denial. But at least we have identified our problem and do something about it.
