Thoughts are with all affected by 9/11 tragedy.

Sounds frustrating Missy re work stuff. Some people really make it difficult in a totally unnecessary way. But i believe such folk will come undone sooner or later. It is a universal law, sadly for them. Hope you are okay and not stressing too much, but i know from my current experience that is easy to say. :l

Sounds like you'll just have to give this bloke the mail Cozza and nip it in the bud next time he calls, otherwise he'll think it's ok to keep calling you until someone tells him to stop. If he then calls again, call the cops. You sure don't want this dragging on too much longer. Are you ok to tell him next time he rings, or is it a bit too much at present to give him or anyone the mail? All the best and keep us posted.

Glassy, next adventure? Plan C for me re work is i'm likely to fight any more unreasonable behaviour to get what i want. See how it pans out. They are looking more unreasonable by the day.

My work day went from bad to worse, but I will not bore you with it and instead reply to Tawny's kind enquiry .... Cairns was very nice, and I had a very relaxing time doing not very much at all!! I didn't make it to Palm Cove (I'll do that next time) but I did go to Rusty's market and spent up large on yummy fruit (actually they weer all pretty cheap, so I should have said spent small but I didn't want you to think I was a cheap skate :H:H). And also spent a very pleasant time wandering around the Botanical Gardens, which I hadn't been to before and I was very impressed with. Had a lovely dinner with my lovely young friend after she got back from work ... we went out for dinner and had an entertaining time observing a lot of women wearing too tight and too short dresses, too high heels and too silly hats (it was race day in Cairns).

Glassy - that is so sad about your trip ..... but I know for myself that the prospect of embarking on an adventure knowing that I am going to spend the next wee while paying it off sort of takes some of the thrill out of it. And on the other hand you have other lovely things to look forward to!!

I didn't click about 9/11 till I saw your post either Corrie. Had a wee thoguht for Techie and some of our other American friends when I did.

TF, I am very glad you went to doctor. BP that high is very dangerous. Silent killer. Hopefully a simple pill will keep it under control and you will be dusted of it. Take care.

Had an emotional wringer with my counselling, but it sounds as if you are all having major work issues, so here's a few :l:l:l for you all.

Made a ripper cheese damper for dinner.....with lamb fillet and goats cheese made a really nice burgery sandwich .

Recipe ....
2 cups self raising flour,
Half teaspoon salt
30g butter, chilled and chopped
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup grated cheese

Whiz flour salt and butter in processor until resembles fine breadcrumbs, stir in cheese.
Make a well,then add milk and use a knife blade to just bring together. I then lightly grouped dough without worrying about the dreggy bits, kneaded just enough to bring it together.
Then place on lined tray, whack into 180 oven for with30 mins, then increase heat to
200 for last 10 mins.
Cheaper and better than bread!

Well i tells yas. Nothing like a bit of yer skype caper lark to a sheila in Columbia for half an hour. Crikey! Struth, what a voice. Played me guitar over the airwaves and orf to a good start i think. Got the juices flowing again. She's got one of those faces that are not quite right, a few strange angles here and there. Geez i love that kind of look. Anyway, a decent sounding bird, a nurse, and sounds kosher. All of a sudden sth america is just down the road. And, she wants to chat again. Almost better than a carmens or a litre of choc soy. Noice.

Geez Tawny that is some high bp, better do yoga with Happs and eat celery and like that...found my grapefruit I lost in the car a couple weeks ago under the seat hahah....was sleepuing nicely in my new hammock yest when band director calls me with drama, my kid says she is going to concert instead of marching band performance, had tickets for months but failed to tell director when the fall schedules went out..blah blah and tried to make a compromise , director called to get the performance time changed to 1 hour earlier, and I asked the parents who were driving to the concert if they could pick my kid up at the stadium, they would still have time to make the concert(4 hour drive)..but the Dad said no, so I offered to drive up myself and he said well, they were all going together or not at all (what an ass)..anyway...so it all really sucks...he has $400 sunk into the tickets + hotel etc, but kids are not supposed to miss performance except for funerals...drama drama, lucky I am on antabuse (again)...feeling like crap:upset:

Well, today i will get managements decision whether to allow me to move on from my current weekday job, but keep my weekend job. Hopefully they won't try to throw a spanner in the works and give me some sort of baloney that if i leave one program, i must leave the whole organisation. In that case, i'll probably stay, take some annual leave, and look for other work. Going by their initial positive response to my first suggestion on tuesday, it shouldn't be an issue, but confirmation awaits today. Today will be a cruisey day. We are putting on a quarterly event for all, with a speaker or 2 and music. The tucker will include 40 to 50 roast chooks. Yum!

Have a pearler out there. Look after your BP and yourselves.
