    Oh Mr G - I thought the work issue must have resolved. It's been ages.

    I'm hoping it really is resolved for you tomorrow.

      Yep, it's been a few weeks. I proposed to them last tuesday that seeing they said no to me doing reduced hours in order to maintain my full time study load, i would resign from this role/program, not from the organisation, but i want to keep my weekend role at another site. Technically a bit tricky apparently. They told me last week this shouldn't be a problem and said i'd know by last thursday, but no response. I've asked union to follow up for me today, so when i'm at work tomorrow i should know. Anyway, it'll all work out one way or another.

      Hope no-one's yanking....

        Mr G - sorry - but what they're telling you is a load of bullsh*t. It's not tricky at all. They is just messing with you. Tell them Glassy is on her way down to sort them out and she don't mess with nobody! :k

            At last some good soaking rain here and not before time. Rain will stop play though, so some inside amusements are called for.

              So, I just received an email from work telling me I'm on the "excess leave register" and I must take leave as a matter of priority. Sir, Yes Sir! Oh well, I guess there are worse things one has to do. :H

                Bridge - maybe you could look up extreme vegetarian recipes with which to tickle the boy's tastebuds!!

                I'm feeling pretty unsettled at the moment. I think this whole work situation is doing my head in more than I was thinking it was. I dont cope well with uncertainty and at the moment I dont know where I'll be living in a months time, and wheter the job will last much past the end of the year. Trying to be all cool and zen about it, but not succeeding very well. And if I hadn't gone straight home to bed and got into my jarmies after work and eaten ice cream instead, I would have seriously have headed off to the local BWS for some wine.

                I dont like Tuesdays either .......

                              Thanks Missy. I'm having the week off. By the time i'm back next week my work issue should be sorted. I'm delegating and leaving the following up to my union.

                              I hope things settle for you real soon. The uncertainty is bloody hard. You are doing an amazing job keeping it together. Take care of yourself as best you can this week.
