Morning all! Asp, when the locusts were little we had a balancing act which included myself, the Lamp, one of my sisters and day care. It seems to have worked, they are - mostly - intelligent, sometimes thoughtful (!) and social people. I just think that you have to go with what works for you and yours. And for some its not just about getting ahead, its about surviving each week and making choices based on what is important to them and their family. Very individual and we are lucky when we have choices.

Finally got my puter unclogged ....numerous automaticupdates clog up my tablet.

I see you're all in fine form.

Not much to report here. Time is ticking long until i get into the show, can't wait.
Then a trip to Sydney with a friend, looking forward to it.
Before we know it, it'll be November then December and xmas!

Another day in domestic paradise here folks.
Chased the boy around this morning trying to out spit curls into his hair, but he didn't seem to like it

He has now gone off to work on his social life while I stay home and count the blown light bulbs

Missy I'm sure you'll feel so much more settled when the domestic situation falls into place. It's so difficult to function when home base is not sorted.

I've enjoyed being a stay at home or part time work Mum. Admittedly I haven't been the stainless steel blender type, but I haven't raised any psychopaths, so that's nice. Aspy's right, it would be nice for more people to have the choice rather than spit the baby out and back to work as my neighbour will.

Really nice morning here...off to the shop though soon...as for the 50s thing, I would have loved to stay home with my kids...the reason I have stayed at this job I hate so long is because it gives me the freedom to be with my kids at all their little school functions they've had over the years. I come and go as I please at my job, but really pay for it in the stress level..my kids say there are some countries that will pay you to be off with your kids, seems like it was Sweden or Norway...anyway...Missy, the place sounds good,...hope it works out.....saw on the news this morn we have been invaded by Tawny crazy ants, from S.
