What are the probable penalties for my first time DUI if I am convicted?
It depends on what state you live in. I live in Mississippi and got my first one in June. DL suspension until MAESAP, and VIP classes are complete. (240.00) 2 fines speeding (237.00) DUI (750.00). Probation for 6 months or until fines are paid and classes are complete. No law enforcement citations for 2 years or I have to complete the 48 hours in jail.

Have you been convicted? A good attorney may get it reduced to reckless driving. If convicted, it depends on your state. Community service, loss of licence and fines should be expected.
