Gawd, it's 8 years ago this week since me bezzie mate died of breast cancer.

I'll be lighting a few candles on Monday.

It was the ani of my mate in Scotland's while I was home. I was glad I was there for his wife as it was pretty rough for her... their wedding ani and the ani of his death are within days of each other. Life is really precarious, isn't it?

Got me a slow cooker today.... gonna make me Granny's stew... hopefully!

Do yis have any experience of them? Would it be safe to leave on overnight?
