Yup they have The Office ( both US and UK )..they have both The classic 1963 and the new 2005 Dr. Whos ..Nixo on the Elementary. She might like Torchwood ( in my list ) ..its a DR. Who Spinoff

            Breaking Bad

Well, I think most people now at me and the twins pretty much live in the 24th century with Capt Janeway and the Vogager Crew but tamely I've got the expanded (back) to the Next Generation...I just can't get them interested in the prior Shows, Gambler but you're right...Star Trek definitely the bread and butter of my Night with Netflix!

So here's the list IN order of obsession...
            LOST
            XFILES
            VOYAGER
            WALKING DEAD
            VOYAGER
            ONCE UPON A TIME
            NEXT GENERATION
            VOYAGER
            CSI MIAMI
            LOST IN SPACE
            LOTSBOLD MOVIES
            VOYAGER
            DARK SHADOWS

            Now the latest list...
HOUSE OF CARDS...just finished the last show in season one...OMG!
4400. Started watching and haven't brought the girls in yet.i think this will be our next show together.

This may sound silly, but sharing the old shows with my kids smuggled under the covers is truly wonderful. The only sore spot is when they fall asleep and the there's 5 of us in the bed...packed in like the poor ...

I love this thread and all the great new ideas...I'll fit them in between Voyager episodes for sure!

              Breaking Bad

K9- I really tried to get into BB also but did not. That means I will pay more attention to the books you recommend because we must have similar tastes!

I have heard a lot about House of Cards. I think I pulled it up on Netflix and there was a bad scene in the opening with a dog. I am not too sure about Kevin Spacey (sp?) either but will check it out again to make sure I am not missing something good. I can't get past the dog scene though if it is the same show.

Lucky, Yes the scene with the dog is House of Cards. I think that scene is meant to show you how the Kevin Spacey character is ruthless at making situations play out according to his plans. For those of you who haven't watched, in the very beginning of the series, Kevin Spacey "euthanizes" a dog that was just hit by a car right before the dog owners are able to be by the dogs side. Kevin Spacey chokes the dog to put him out if his misery. It's very intense.

I just started reruns of "The Wire". I'll see how it goes. First episode looks pretty promising. I love Idris Elba.

                Great suggestions!
