      Morning Satzuma, me lovely.

Just had a look and the weather's going to be quite mild....14/16C plus 'til Tuesday and then it's going to be rainy but we're coming home that day.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

          Me again.
          Hello Mr Vervill :hallo:
Morning Spidey, Foxy, Jacs, and Doc - yiz alright?

Re the headaches Doc, I think it's either one of two things (or a combo)
          1. Just needing a bit more water (esp day before a long run) and to eat always soon after (not an issue with early morning runs, cos brekkie is hot on the heels of me running in the front door)
          2. Posture - i need to work on this. May need to some upper body strength work, as one suggestion is that after x or so miles, the muscles around my shoulders, neck and upper back weaken and begin to slump... only thing is I don't really have time for gyms right now... will need to wait to see how first month goes with job and look at where i'm at re days not travelling corss-country and time etc.

Also... my BIG weakness (nay! LAZINESS!) re running is I don't tend to warm up or cool down proper after long runs. I just start.... and 2 hours later I stop :H

PS - (for Molls too! cos she replied with my post re smiling couple of days back)

On yesterdays run I tried SMILING, and being a bit more aware of my posture and trying to relax. I think I run really tense like. But the smiling did seem to help a wee bit. Feels a bit odd... but then if you look at a lot of pros some of them seem to smile a bit....

Now wouldn't you like to know.............

Naw nice game of cards, Trivial Pursuit, reading, blinding each other with head torches. And do you know sometimes just absolutely nothing just sitting. Once the stove is lit it's quite hypnotising.

We've got the dog with us so we just eat in. There's one or 2 pubs that'll take dogs but it's a bit of a faff.

Ah yer lucky Jacks. That's where I struggle going anywhere these days. And it is very difficult.
Mr S likes the pub, racing & telly in that order. I hate all those now. He would no more sit in and play trivial pursuit than me go to a football match. He wants to go to Carlingford for October long weekend.
But I know our weekends there involved: after say- 4pm mostly it's the little pub with the open fire. Now I can do this - but not 'till 1 am in the morning - which is what he wants.
Simple pleasures he is not into I'm afraid - needs to be entertained at all times
Tried many's a time - even at Christmas to play games etc. he will not join in - just watching 'effin telly. Then off racing Boxing Day.

Hi Reccie just about to check in.

Been having a difficult time over the past few weeks and do not feel able to share very personal stuff over the internet.

Last week I developed a painful knee which I could put up with if I wasn't doing the Chester Marathon next Sunday.

Headaches Arsey are usually hydration related, maybe you need more electolytes and a check up from your GP?

Amy sounds and looks gorgeous Reccie, looks like you have a winner there

Great news on the shop Molly fingers crossed that everything is going in the right direction.

Have a great break Jackie and again thank you for the hospitality shown by you,Peter and the son anfd heir:thanks:

Satz except for the horses I have a carbon copy of Mr S here. So boring sitting in a pub until 1am.

Foxy have a great cruise and get to see exicting places:h

Hope questie is OK We have all been there and got the tee shirt

Love to everyone else back later:new:
