Someone must be feeling better as Sable woke me this morning by cleaning my feet and I opened my eyes to a sloppy old ball on my pillow. Bob is back to tormenting the squirrels in the garden, can't convince him that they're 15 feet up in the trees and that they're NOT going to come down. He does his best, regardless, jumps straight up and down- on the spot. You can tell they're laughing at him. I do too.

Someday I'll tell you guys where I first met my higher power and was able to begin to let go, if you're interested. It was a strange place indeed.

And seriously, if i had it to do over, I'd have had just slightly bigger TITS, from the pirates treasure I used to have...(sunken chest)....these just get in the way of exercise, and esp. the golf game I gave up over them,....but sigh....when you are 30 and single, and not very sexy, ya go buy 'em with a bonus check...lol....anyway...thankfully I didn't get my "hoof" caught in a "over the shoulder boulder holder"....gotta get more flexible for that! Tex, you are a hoot !!! I can almost see the pair of you in yoga class.. Good for you though.. Flexiblily is one fitness that is sometimes forgotten...With you doing your cardio, you will be a lean mean, fight for jesus machine !!! Stick with it !! I'm working out regualarly and am now feeling my body composition FINALLY coming around to my way of thinking !!! I've been diligently using my eliptical, bike, bowflex as well as abdominals on the floor and now I've lost 14 lbs since my journey began in April !! I'm now 108.4 again. YAHOOO !!!!
Magic, I'm so happy to hear that your beautiful family members are feeling better... I would love to hear where you met your higher power... Very interesting...

Luv, don't go all out cleaning sweetie, leave some stuff for family to pitch in as well... People love to help out. I love that your granny is coming again !! okay, gals sounds like you all are having such a good time. i so enjoyed getting caught up on yesterday's and today's posts. i'm so happy your doggies are feeling better magic. i sat down last nite and took each doggie and spent time really massaging them. they were like all blissed out when i was finished. now they are walking around today going can we have more please ms massage girlie. hahahahaa about once a month i try to get in there and really work em out. funny enough lula is the one that loves it the most and she also is the one that doesn't like to be petted at all. funny little lula bear is so guy like dog but no when it comes to her massage. she just lets all that tension go. like butter. so tit i can see you in those poses. you must have been quite a site. so funny. and i'm so happy luv that your mama gained 4 lbs. wow you must have been feeding her pasta. that's alot of weight to gain. i'm so impressed. i had better get myself going this a.m. have to go get my roots done and a pedicure. yeahhh so happy. wash that gray away. and i'm with TIT. if i had to do it again, i'd have gotten smaller add on boobs as well. my husband so wanted the stripper tits. he went to the dr. with me and brought all the photos of what he wanted i'm like okay plenty of room for that as gravity has taken over. lol but wow, they get in the way of golf, buttoning your shirt, and about everything else. lol anyway, all i'll write later. can't wait for my l.o. and all my goodies.

Hello everybody. I felt like drinking tonight. I can only workout so much, like I did today. Came home from work, and worked out. Watched some college ball, but that's it. So, instead of going out and drinking, I'm eating too much. I shouldn't be doing that either. I should be on a strict diet to get in the shape I need to be. It's really hard to find stuff to do sometimes, huh? Guess I'll just read again tonight. Woohoo. Such an exciting life this is. :upset:

Tex, I hope you hit the big one too. I tried for the lotto but too no avail. Be sure to include an invoice with the care package. I too can hardly wait for my new cure to come in. I went to see the horse races once, but no one would tell me how to place a bet. Everyone was really rude. Hell, I don’t know anything about it.

Nibs, the rained on laundry should smell great. Are you going to have to rewash it? I am going out o town on the 24th of this month and coming back on the 4th of October. I will not be able to post since I am not taking a laptop with me. I am going to Munich just in time for Oktoberfest, then to Rome, and Slovakia. I am going with my boss and the division VP. Both are heavy drinkers, so this should be interesting. I plan to stay AF while we are gone, and I believe that will be a definite test of my faith. We will be busy, so maybe there will not be much time for drinking anyway.

Luv, good news on your mama gaining weight. Maybe she is feeling a little better too? I hope you have a great visit. I can hear the excitement in your “voice”.

I have a short funny to tell too. We had our company picnic today, and I attended. When we were first getting set up I volunteered to let the removable tattoo people practice on me. They wanted someplace to put them without too much hair, so I had them put two flaming tats saying “Road Warrior” on my cheeks. Since this was the first they had done they accidentally put them on upside down, so everyone was looking at me weird (which is kind of normal) so I explained what had happened all day. Now after the party, I forgot I was wearing them and went straight to a meeting to hear an alcoholic speak. I traipsed in with my big ol’ name tag (which I had also forgotten about) and the tats on my cheeks. I moved through the crowd and got a lot of stares and smiles, but I had no idea why. Finally someone asked me what I had done to my face, and I realized the tats were still on my face. I imagine everyone thought I was “under the weather” so I quickly removed the tats and name tag so I wouldn’t look too ridiculous; probably a little too late. lol

So barbs and he mayor are both sore and I am hope that passes quick.

It is late and I am tired, I will checik in tomorrow.

Magic...I EBAY ALL the time. Have bought a bunch of Christmas gifts already. My daughter loves designer purses and I have gotten her several from EBAY.

Morrison, hang in there! Find another hobby! I had to find a couple, one isn't enough to fill the drinking time hours. AND you get bored doing the same thing over and over and over. You are doing SO GOOD! Keep it up.

Bootsie, I got the roots done, but didn't make it for my pedicure. I will this week though...gotta squeeze it in.

Went out to dinner last night and had a real nice time. We got home about 11. Not to late! It was good to get out!!!!

Magic, I'm reading a book called "Black Cross" by Greg Iles. I don't read Harry Potter. Never saw any of the movies either. Just one of those things I refuse to do. Read one Tolkien book when I was younger, and the whole witches and sorcerers thing doesn't do it for me. I do enjoy reading as a hobby too, but it just doesn't feel the void. Although I'm a loner, I don't want to be alone all the time, so that is when it is hard, especially on a Saturday night. Thank God I just stayed home though. I would be so pissed at myself if I went out.

Ladies, I have never had a pedicure in my life. Perhaps I should since I am barefoot most of the time. I do cover up gray though, I have lots since I am so old.

Boots, I have never given either Bob or Sabel a massage but both like to be vaccuumed, which is a good thing-they are both so big and hairy. Except when I am actually trying to clean house and they won't get out of the way because they both think it's their turn..again.

I have to get off my butt and get moving, I need coffee.

Magic I am 35, been covering grey since I was 18.... :boohoo: Oh well, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do. If I ever meet you I am taking you for a pedicure. Every woman should have a pedicure at least once in her life. I garden, play with all my animals, etc...will get in the dirt with the kids, but I LOVE pedicures. It is my treat to myself.

Morrison, so proud of you! Be proud of yourself and find another outlet. They are out there. I know it is hard....

Hi guys !! We snuck out to our camp overnight and had a really great time !! Everybody sounds great here too.. We found some new roads while exploring on the 4-wheeler. Our trees are just starting to change colour.
Bear, I had to break down and use my dryer for my clothes because it is sooo damp outside... We could have used all this rain about 2 months ago. We are gonna really miss you when you go away at the end of the month...
Today, we went for a really nice walk when we got home from camp.
Morrison, I got your pictures and you are a handsome fella indeed ! You are doing sooo very well for yourself ! I watched a couple Harry Potter movies with the boys and didn't really "get" it either... I guess they aren't for me either. Have you ever read books by "Jean M. Auel" Clan of the Cavebear, Valley of the Horses, and there are a couple more I cannot remember... I enjoyed her books alot. I found that alot of my "drinking time" was filled with crochetting, and I made a huge queen sized blanket for our bed that I refer to as my "MWO blanket" We do have alot more time on our hands my friend. I wish you all the best in finding lots of things to fill your time...

here it is sunday. hello everyone. relaps sicky made me sleep a bit today on the couch. but, yesterday hubby and i took a time out and went to movie day. we watched a shoot em up movie called shoot em up and then the best western i've seen since clint eastwood movies as a kid. 3:10 to yuma. so so good. so magic, i must be one of the herd as i get the harry potter books before anyone and i love especially the first movie and the last one that came out. soo soo good. love it all. and pedicures are fabulous. got the gray out of hair yesterday but no pedicure yet.

bear what a funy story. oh my gawd. funny. i wish i could have seen it. having just briefly been in munich. it was magical. i had wished i had more time there. i remember the story well of all the athletes killed in the games. for some reason it just seemed like i wanted to read that story again and then go there to munich. anyway bear you are going to have a great time. plenty to do.

morrison, i read alot but then it is all varied. but i will say i read this book while on vacation called kite runner. well i read both of the author's books as they were the first two he's written. i was awestruck by kite runner. and see that someone else was to as he read it in 2003 and now it is coming out as a movie. there are maybe 5 books out of thousands i've read that hit me the way this book did. very powerful.

i've been doing some soul searching and i think i'm going to leave the real estate industry. i mean i will keep my license. was going to open a brokerage. but again this weekend i had a runin one more time with more people that are supposedly professionals in this business. and it has been a pretty miserable ride dealing with my professional cohorts. the clients i've had are magnificant but the rest of the lot are not fun. in fact today i pondered writing a book about what it has been like these last 8 years coming back into this world of corruption, no integrity, plain idiots, lol and greed run rampet. yesterday a client called to say that after us fighting with developer to try and get her deposit returned. i knew it was going to be tough but she got caught in the whole financial melt down of banks so couldn't get financing. developer declined to give her money back. anyway, now the billion dollar developer wants her to write a letter blaming me realtor for her banking prequal sheet as i helped her fill it out (but wasn't using their bank), she used her own lender and her missing timelines with her loan officer and the developer. again i'm the realtor. nice nice. these were my friends. she is a famous model with high powered attorney. i'm very sad as i'm such a big heart and instead swimming with these sharks. i just can't keep up. every day i deal with being unappreciated, trying not to get swindled and misidentified. so i asked my client, if you do this, which isn't true, you know that makes me look like i've committed fraud and it's not true. and the developer told her there would be no repurcussions to me. yeah right. the only reason they want you to say that is so they can say, nope they don't owe you and then you sue me. so, today i was laughing about just how upsurd anyone would think this biz or any of the people in it are. it's like that movie running with scissors. so, i am going back to teaching and consulting and i'm going to write about "The Big Greed or maybe call it Downtown." we could turn it into a series. i do have some deals going throughout til the end of the year. we will see if i get sued or get brought up. i do have to sue former brokers for withholding commissions for work i did they just didn't pay me for it. you will actually like this funny. so, this one group that owes me thousands since january, as of last week said, the president in virginia is good friends with george bush and family. grew up as neighbors. said he'd call george and have him revoke my license if i didn't just walk away. wow, that must mean i'm like a big fish right? i said hummmmm. don't you think george has a few things to worry about right now, iraq, his latest poll ratings, people resigning? so, he's just going to call the department of real estate and for no reason have my license revoked? humm. well i guess that is possible. guess bootsie is now really famous. anyway, my husband says that i need to fight for myself. i think it takes up far too much energy and makes me want to drink gallons. i need stress free. so that's my new mantra, stress free since i really am more committed to AF then i am drama and stress free. hubby said he didn't realize there were evil, really evil people in the world til he saw me and the people he's met in real estate. while i have amazingly beautiful people too. i'll remember to put them as some of the funny, main characters. so here's to character building for my book and t.v. series. on to a new book. happy sunday all
