Hi all,
Going to be a nice day here I think. Supposed to be cooling off a bit and I want top go camping so much. Have been waiting and waiting for the cool down. Spent a nice eve playing games with my kids. Was so glad it was Friday.The dawn is breaking and this is my favorite time of day hearing all the birdies wake up. Heard 2 owls hooting back and forth the other morn while sitting here.. Nibs, would like to see a pic of the doily.Sounds really nice.Bear, hope you found your ring. Luv, have been thinking about your mom and praying..Bootsie, hope you are doing better.Magic, I have heard about Kubler Ross lady. Will look for book in library today.Morrison, how is the boxing? Had a BAD day yesterday. I drink some wine...NOT GOOD! I feel guilty today, not hungover, but guilty nonetheless. I am upping my topa today. I had done SO good and this is 2 slips in less than a month. No, not major ones, but I KNOW if i do not get a handle now, I will continue down the wrong path. I can make excuses...I had a horrid week! My Mama is dying and this is hell for us, BUT I know drinking is not the answer. It scares me because I am afraid when she dies, I will no longer have to be sobber to care for her. I have to keep doing this for me!!! So, I am upping topa today!
My hot tub is FINALLY fixed! I am so excited! Tonight I will be sitting in it with my family...we love it. It has been down for a LONG time and has taken several attempts, but my fella fixed it yesterday. YEAH!
Bird, where in Georgia do you live, bet you are close to me?

Luv, sorry you are having it tough but good about the hottub. I live in Moultrie. It takes me about 5 hours to get to august wherever you are from there. Maybe one of these days we can get together. Take it easy today. bird

hey there people. i'm feeling so much better. why i hardly have any kennel cough at all. the doggies and i played dancing dancing dancing machine this morning. that was a blast. was feeling restless last nite but didn't drink. so sorry to hear you had a bad day there luv bug. i have let me topa go down to practically zero. i think it is a warning sign for me to up up up as well. i was at 200 for quite some time. so yep, us girls gotta get our meds back up. you just never know. so happy about your hot tub. i'm meeting clients at a big partyyyyy downtown at a loft development. so i'll stay out of the alchohol on that one. i'll just schmooze instead. and i think i'll get out and see a girlfriend. i've been so depressed and sick i haven't seen a soul really.
they all think i ran away somewhere. lol i did. into my head. ahahahahahaah okay, and the writing is going well. have fun camping if you get to go birdieeee. luv bug enjoy the day.

I am 45 minutes from Augusta. Maybe one day we will meet up, that would be great! Took a long nap today....feel good after. Having a lazy day. Gonna make fried chicken for dinner, that is what my stepdad wants. I RARELY make it so the kids are even excited...HA HA

Thank you all...took topa this morning an again this afternoon, just gotta get my mind back around it it is all. Haven't had a major slip, but I see it coming if I do not get a grip now. I will just be on Topa forever I guess. Better than drunk though, no matter what, it is better than drunk.

I am glad you are feeling better barb. Try to get some rest.
Luv, you are going through a horrible time. So far, no harm no foul, but please be careful. I know from experience I am only one good drunk away from where I started. If I were to completely give in I think it would be my death. It is a really big incentive for me. You will not have to take topa for life. You have so much stress now I worry about your heart. Try to relax, and remember how wonderful you last drunk was. Mine wasn't wonderful either.

I had set it up on the arm of a recliner and it disappeared until this morning, and there it was . I am so thankful.

I love you all, and I know I didn't talk to all of you but I am in the middle of bar-b-queing some ribs and I have to get back. I am here if any of you need me. Love has my number if you want to call.

I TOTALLY agree Bear, I know I gotta get my mind back around staying sobber and healthy. So much going on I just have lost time to think about it. BUT, I am making time again. Still to new for me not to keep BIG guards up.
My little puppies are growing, they are going everywhere. Little balls of fur. They are SO cute! I want to keep them all...HA HA

My Sithzu had puppie 4 weeks ago...they are SO cute Magic. I love them! I already have 3 of the 4 sold. Mama is keeping the runt. She fits in my hand.

OH...one set of my lovebirds has eggs.....I am SO EXCITED!

I missed you guys so gosh darn much !!!
Our youngest son Tyler got a partridge and Hubby got one on the way home. Our weather was really nice so we were able to spend alot of time on the bikes. It is good to be home just the same though.
Bear, I'm so happy for you finding your ring !!! Yahooo !!! That is great news buddy !!!
Luv, sweetie, you are the most amazing person I "know"... honest. You are wise beyond your years. Enjoy that hottub with your family !!! How wonderful that your kind fella could fix it for you .... very nice. As your little puppies are adopted into homes just know how happy they will make these families too... They have GOT to be the cutes little darlins' though. Will Daddy love bird help with raising the young?

Bird, do you not camp during the summer months? When you go camping do you like to tent, or use a trailer maybe? Is it just cooling down now where you live? We just had our first frost over this weekend.. urgggg .... and I burn a wood fire in the evenings to keep the chill out of the house. I do enjoy all 4 seasons though and always look forward to winter when we go ice-fishing and snow machining.

yes, bootsie is just about back to her good ol self. just about all healed up. been hanging with hubby all day today but we are going to the movies as we have cabin fever. the downtown events were quite successful. i was amazed at all that is happening. and, i have a great idea i'm going to talk to some folks about for an event. i think it will be a huge success.
so a funny thing happened yesterday on the way home. i stopped at the grocery store to pick up some goodies and i was on my cel phone talking with my favorite lapd buddy. anyway, i was laughing while i was in line as she was cracking me up. and the man in front of me said can you take that phone call somewhere else? i was like so sorry of course i can. so i was hanging up when he said no it isn't you being on the phone i mind it is that your voice is so iritating. then i stopped. and it was like ef hutton has spoken. i mean i know all of these people in the market for like 10 years so it is 50/50 on whether i'm going to be nice or barbie is going to go rambo. and i looked at this really pathetic mean and nasty and all the clerks are looking at me. like is she going to go off on him. my buddy, jon from security comes in as he's going to say something to mr. mean and nasty. and i was very calm and hung up my phone and said: i'm so very sorry that my voice and all really offends you. please accept my apology. i thought everyone would faint. hahahahaahahahahaha he was speechless as i was being very sincere. then he left and everyone was like wow, bootsie. wow. hahahahaaha see i can be nice i said. then i called my pal back and we were rolling on how nice i was. so, birdie hope you are having a great day. lunch lady i'm so happy you are back. i was missing you. magic hope you and the doggies are feeling better. and keep up the good work luv bug. you are worth every moment. sobriety is much more fun then drunk anyday. so how's that go, divided we fall. bear i would really like some good ol barbeque food. yesterday, the guy was grilling asparagus and put like some hot mustard on them and then some kind of brown sugar. it was so good. and he grilled pineapple too. wow. great. i think they were called two guys grilling. i have to look it up. he said they had recipes on their site. see you all tomorrow. and lunch lady i'd help you with your chores if i were there. i promise. and i wish we had 4 seasons. i miss that. we just have various degrees of blue sky.

Step Dad leaves tomorrow, UH...Mama already depressed about it! I knew she would be, poor soul. I would too, if I were her.
I BROKE DOWN and offered to pay my sisters way here and can you believe she STILL is NOT coming! Not even for 3-4 days! I know I just said let anger go, but I hate her! I swear if she cries at my Mama's funeral I am gonna slap her. (Not REALLY, but I want to) I Hate that I hate her, but I do. She is SO selfish! We emailed back and forth all weekend, and finally then she says she can't come at all. I just didn't even respond. She makes me SICK! This is EXACTLY why I banned her from my life 4 years ago. Every once in awhile I get soft and forget just how much I can't stand her, but low and behold, it doesn't take her 2 days to remind me why. Of course, then Mama was sad. I was then sorry I even offered at all. Mama was used to the idea that she wasn't coming already. My fault for thinking she might be HUMAN! OMG!!!

Today is hot and sunny here, and supposed to stay that way for the week !! As I got home from work I could smell the sweet n' sour chicken I had put in the slow cooker this morning... YUMM !!!

Bird, do your chickens lay eggs or are they meat bird maybe ? Or perhaps you have them as pets? I had a rooster once, little B****RD !!! He used to attack me all the time so I put him in a burlap sack and hand delivered him to my neighbours who put him in the pot... He was a mean little banty rooster !! Pretty, but mean !!! I have no reason why either, I gave the little guy lots of space, didn't harrass the hens or anything... oh well...
