i love hot dogs.. love them. yummmy. gosh you know luv. i'm so happy that your mama is wanting something to eat. you know my sis didn't make it to 56 and i'm just so very happy that your mama is having a 56 bday. my mama also passed away at 32 when i was 6 weeks old. so i'm just well happy bday mama. and i love you girlie. am getting in the shower. and yes bear i took on quite a bit with all these new clients, old clients and new j o b. since i haven't had a j o b for 15 years. ummmmm this is a stretch. but at least this week they said come in for one day and at noon. since usually i have to start at 7 a.m. and come in all 3 days and it is a 2 hour commute. so am lining up a place to live down south in laguna... cuz this girlie is not commuting 4 hours a day.. um nope not working 14 hour days and commuting for those 3 days. phew...
papa well if i can take a job, then you can work next to guys you've managed. wow, changes huh? and mama can have a hot dog. and bird can have new chickens. good god the world is shaking up.. what else is happening out there? lmao

Well, no news at work yet accept all of our jobs were reposted with positions available immediately. I emailed Compass Group/Charwell Foods in the employee feedback section expressing my passion for my job etc... I got an email response yesterday telling me that my job was not in jeopardy... I still don't understand... why would it be posted then? I will leave it in the Lords hands knowing I have done all I can. Come what may.
Out on Highway 17, there are 4 vehicles flipped over because of black ice.(no injuries were reported) That is only about 1.5 miles from our home. Hubby has just now went on his service calls which are not down the highway. We have strong wind gusts too. Likely about 45 mile an hour I would guess. My horses are staying in with their breakfast because the rain we had been getting has now made a sheet of ice in their paddock. Oh to be a Northerner. Well it is a good day to catch up on laundry, crochett and make a venison supper. I hope that everybody has a " Happy Humpy " Hugs and love,

Thanks to everyone for the Happy B-days to Mama.....our evening was filled with a girl on girl fist fight in the parking lot and all. GOOD GRIEF!!!!! I couldn't believe it! 2 Grown women got in a fight in the parking lot houtside the hot dog shop...LMAO. Hot dogs and redneck entertainment. What more could you ask for? HA HA HA

god i wish i could have seen the fight. did the girls win or the hot dog? ahahahahahahaah lmao. kidding kidding.well as fate would have it i took all those pills they gave me this morning like a good patient and then was sick as a dog. so was in jammies all day long. new job has to wait til tomorrow. and i have to get up way early to get there. i get my cards though tomorrow. yeah... and wow, i did have the president's office but now i think i'm relegated to a cubicle. ahahahaha ah the ego. the ego. crush crush. that's good for me... it is good and humbling. since i asked to only be there three days they well set me back a bit. but health first my friends. well since i padded around in my flannels all day and rested as i was so ick to my tummy. shower up time.

Nibs, the biggest problem I had with the horses in the winter was keeping their water from freezing. No heat in the barn (shed). I hope you and yours are all safe.

Hello Bear, yep freezing water is a 2 times a day chore... We have an outside nonfreeze hydrant with both hot and cold running water..... but it's at the house. I use jugs and buckets pulled by my trusty tobaggan to the barn. Every evening before dark the horses come into their stalls in the barn. They go out weather permitting (no freezing rain, super high winds, blizzards, or super high temps in summer ) In the barn they each have a loose box stall, and then also outside if we aren't around to bring them in should the weather get bad they also have a loafing shed that has plenty of room for both of them. Although they rarely go in it... I always tell old Cody "Next time around you get to take care of me"
Little Kiwi and Niblet stay indoors in the winter but I open their stall into the whole barn when I'm cleaning for them to party and run around. They crack me up!!!
Well we haven't seen the sun now for about a week so hopefully today it will pop out.
Our chocolate lab Beau is having her second heat so she is wearing my old teddy with a hole cut out for her tail. She is an "Always with wings" girl. Haa !! Haa!!
Well, I better get my butt in gear if I'm gonna do a workout, shower and get ready for work. Have a super-D-duper Thursday everybody, Hugs,

i'm about to jump in the shower but wanted to pop on. that is so funny. my hubby gets all pouty if he sees me on line at mwo. it's like hey where's my time. hahahaahahah you aren't chatting are you? uhhh no of course not. hahahahaahhaah. well bear more 2 is right. i didn't even think about that. what a cool thing. no responsibility to take home. me, i was on harvard biz review thinking about 3 books i wanted to buy that was like $500 and thinking ooh i'm going to ask if they have a library allowance at the new office. hahahahaha i would like them to buy them. hahahahahahaa. well, funny enough i told you it was the year of abundance and an old friend just referred a client to me for real estate. uhoh. when do i have time for that? hummmmmmm. well i'll call her on my way to new j o b. and i do love one of the lofts we've purchased downtown it's almost done. but there is a better unit and 100K more expensive but i can get the price knocked off 50K and it is better price per sq foot. so i'm going to ask hubby's dad if he wants to put in with us. we can rent it out corporate rental and use ourselves. 940 sq feet for 558K but i can get it to 500K. don't you love our prices here? hahahahahahahahahaha
birdie where are you moving to? will the chickens have their own nest in the house? or their very own garage? oh i'm so thankful ex decided to exit early. that was way kind of him i mean really his better path is on the other side. look all the good he is actually doing now. bully for him. he gets points for that unselfish maneuver. about time... nibs i too had to think about that water for the horses. but i used an ice pick and hot water i brought down to trough. wow, modern technology. i did like watching the ducks slide across the pond though.

HEY ALL! Sorry I was AWOL, had a ton of company all during the season, and was out-of-town, then, got home, my Grandmother got sick, left in a big 'ol hurry, didn't make it, so had to make arrangements for funeral back in our hometown, get the family all together, and its just been overwhelming! I left and forgot my phone even, then, got a new one, I'd dropped the old one so many times, the back wouldn't stay on, so, being SOOOO phone/computer illiterate, its taking a bit to figure it all out....my kids roll their eyes at me!
Anyway, I got the last of the relatives on their way this morning, so I'm scrambling to catch up on all my biz, and domestic goddess duties! My Grandmother was 3 wks shy of her 98th birthday, and had led a very fun, full, interesting life...she and my stepgranddad, lived in New Delhi, India for many years, with my Dad's 3 sisters, who graduated high school from the American school there...my Dad stayed stateside dating my Mom....lol....anyway, it was troubling that it happened so quickly, and we didn't get to say a final good-bye, but a wonderful blessing that she went peacefully, and had lived such a great life. It's just been a time of mixed emotions, and also lots of fun too, talking and laughing with all my aunts and cousins I grew up with, its amazing how much we're alike, and how much we all look alike to this day. So, that's whats been shaking here...I'm ready to get back to a regular ROUTINE! GEEEEZZZZ, then again, I guess there is no "normal"! Ok, lemme see if I can squeeze in everyone! Boots, so glad you are doing so well, you know if I hadn't eaten so much pie at Christmas, I'd have no ass atall, cuz I was praying mine off for you! I can't wait to hear more about Rhonda in the desert, can we invite her to come? Lordy, she'd probably fall over in the pool and drown from More2 and I all in one place with whatever "issues" we'd conjure up..he he he....Papa Bear, I gotta feeling this was all meant to be, and just think, you'll understand right where your co-workers are everyday, having been there yourself, then in management, and I'm betting they need you there, in many many ways, and this is God sending those folks a Papa Bear Angel...it'll for sure be an adjustment in many ways, but I'm betting it'll all come out in the wash, I'm praying for peace of mind for you, and just for you being such a blessing, period! Ok, I'm going to get on the threadmill, then do some free weights, never even got outta my sweats from this morning, been cleaning and cooking some stuff for dinner, and washing...lordy, I feel like the maid at Holiday Inn Express or something! Hi all,
Glad everyones sounding good. Hey I was out in the yard and the landlord stops to talk and I told him we were getting the SS and I would be looking for something to buy. He said if I wanted I could buy something and he'd move this trailer out and I could pay 125$ lot rent and stay here. I say OK cuz I'm always seeing fixer upper trailers in the paper for 3 or 4000$. Anyway I had been thinking lately that I didnt want to move but just hated this little trailer but like the yard and the neighbors, so I will spend a few months paying off my credit cards and then start looking for a fixer upper and that will keep me busy too and out of trouble. I can fix up the yard and plant some stuff and have a little weld shop in back. So things are working out well for me except for going totally AF. I think I think about it too much and thats why but I am alot better than I was a few months ago. Anyway...Tex sorry to hear about your Grandma but lucky she got to be so old. Luv too funny about the fight. would have loved to have seen it. Nibs send some winter down here. I was in shorts today. Bootsie, yes it was nice of the sperm donor to exit so nicely. Tex, I'm so sorry to hear about your Gramma too. What a blessing though that she didn't lay, sick in a home for years as so many do.. What a wonderful thing too that she lived such a long and productive life... We would all wish for that. I hope that your life can now finally get back to "normal"...God Bless you.

Well, this morning we had a pretty good blizzard blowing but all the highways are open near our home. Hubby is gone to town to do his bookkeeping and some shopping...
I was going to go with him but I don't like driving through so much snow even in 4-wheel drive... There are too many idiots out there on the road. Besides, I have alot of things I "should" be doing while he is gone...Haaa !!! Haaa !!! (I'm still in my jammies for gosh sakes) As I type I can see the sun coming out.. Yaahoooo!!!! We haven't had sunshine for a week now. I think I'll go and toss the horses out now that the weather is nicer while I clean up the barn and let the goats run around... I could use a good laugh !!! They bounce, run sideways with their hair all upity, bang heads, all while getting ready to spin in mid air... It is a HOOT !!
I hope that everybody is having a great Friday so far ...
Oh, and in the middle of the night, you came to my mind Magic... How is your cat along with kittens...Is all well with them?

Yep More2, as we got a good blanket of snow with the sun out, the horses are enjoying good footing once again. Their paddock is no longer a sheet of ice. Thank the dear Lord
Now don't you go working too hard .. Take Care all, Tonight I put skinless chicken on the woodstove in a pot all covered with thyme, rosemary, poultry seasoning... We'll have stove top stuffing, cranberries, mashed potatoes, carrots and packaged turkey gravy.. Did you all know that stove top stuffing as well as the instant gravy is virtually fatfree? ( I don't add the 2 TBS of butter that the stuffing calls for )... I'm gonna go and throw another log on the fire, so hugs and have a wonderful evening

Good Morning !!! I'd love to put another place setting at our table for ya all !!!
Today the sun is so beautiful and there is just enough snow that we know it is winter... Now the ignition coil went on the snowmachine, so we are waiting for that part that is supposed to be in on Monday. Uggg !!! Oh well.
I've got to go outside to enjoy this sunshine as it has been really dull here for over a week...
Tomorrow our #2 Son , Tyler turns 16... It seems like just yesterday he was 5 or 6 for goodness sakes.
