Oh TIT, Brit had the flu last week. I HATE sickness. I am breathing, sometimes deeper than other times. I am not real sure what to do with my time now, but went shopping today. I may end up with another bad habit. I wear scrubs to work but Brit looks GOOOOOOOOD every day. Zak he is happy with a new game for one of his systems.

I have NO complaints today. I am happy, kids are happy...work was good, I amm sleeping well......OMG, I am HAPPY!!!!!! First time in a long time that I can say my whole damn day was just good. I didn't cry over someone dying or someone already dead, I didn't get drunk, I didn't feel like I HAD 5 BRICKS ON EACH SHOULDER. I am just happy!!!!

Aw Luv, that's awesome, sometimes we don't realize how much stress we are under, until we are out from under it....you've been carrying a huge load for too long now....just fill your time with things you've wanted and needed to do, and couldn't....it'll all get back to "normal" soon....I'm trying to feel better, we're fixing to have a huge storm, again....temp's to drop over 30 degrees, no wonder so many folks are sick.....

OMG, happy is good! We are gonna have BAD storms tonight. I love thunderstorms, as long as there are no tornadoes, I am good. Working from home today and cleanign house. I work awhile get up and clean something. I might get it all done today. LOL

Hi all,
I'm home sick too with the flu or something. Gonna be some bad storms here also and then cold. Has been like summer and us in shorts. My bio-mom sent me a bunch of shirts . The sleeves are all hanging about 3 inches past my fingertips and the kids were cracking up. Glad to get the shirts though and will just roll the sleeves up. Bootsie hey I am year of the rat also according to bears research. Nibs, what kind of snakes do you have up there?? Seems funny to think of snakes up there. Luv you really sound like you are getting relaxed....hey I never got my computer out of the shop, remember I put it in maybe over 2 weeks ago. I have called the guy maybe 3 or 4 times but he always says they are working on it. Think I will just have to go up there and get it and never mind him. geez.....later on bird

Bird, the flu is terrible this year, I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself. I hope we don't blow away. Yesterday it was almost 80 degrees, this weather is nuts. My little man will be home soon. He had half day today.

Wow, tornado's are bad in this storm, you all take care of yourselves. For us it was just cold and then today it is warming up again. Weird weather. I hear we are going into a stage of global cooling now. WTF?

Global cooling, how did that happen? We are still hacking away at the ozone layer, or so I thought. I just go with it. I never know how to dress...80 then 50 the next day. Dress in layers, you can always take something off. Hey Bird, if a tornadoe comes my way, reach out and grab me as I fly by your house, Ok? LOL I lived in TX and OK my entire childhood, tornadoes are very prevalant there, Mama used to make us sleep in our clothes in case we needed to run to the cellar on stormy nights.

Ohhh, PeggySue, I'm just daydreaming about gardening at this point as our garden is under a foot of snow. It won't be long though !
We have garder snakes and itty bitty copper belly snakes here... Last year I didn't see any because hubby and the boys empty the wheelbarrow out behind the barn for me when spring arrives.. I'm such a chicken !!

Hey all....Bird, sorry you are sick too....its yucky, I feel a bit better today, think I'll make it, yesterday, I was thinking if I weren't better, I was going to the hospital, I felt that bad! We had hail and rain, and its colder now, sun is out, which helps the attitude alot.... Bear, what is 1959, I thought I was a Rat too...lol...guess not! Hope everyone gets on the mend, and gets all their stuff done....its fixing to be breeding season here, we have 2 mares about to foal now too, gonna have to start spending the nights at the barn apt., and staying up all night, waiting for water to break...I'm trying to wrap my head around trying to have 2 different households going, its going to be hard with all the animals we have at home...our barn/farm is 12 miles from the main house....oh well, I've done it before, I can do it again! Been spoiled, we've had our helpers do it the last few years, since I've been at Hopkins usually so much during the year, I'm thankful as all get out to be at the farm, cancer-free tho, I have to remember that, and not complain! Its funny, I was there, and thinking how I'd give anything to be at the barn myself, now, I'm wigging out wondering how to manage it all.... I have to be sooooo grateful for being able to be there, and just get with the program! Love you all......have a great day!

And I hope that you are feeling better as well Tex ! Wow, foaling season is a nail biting time of year full of anticipations !!! If only I could be there with you.. Years back I helped our miniature mare foal as her little colt was showing signs of being in a poor position for birth. Actually it was only his little head turned sideways which wasn't going to right itself.. We have it all on video and it makes my heart swell to see it... We got "babys" first words and steps, first feeding etc. It is truely an amazing thing to witness. I hope and pray that all goes well with your precious mares and foals.
Well, this morning we woke up to -25 Celcius Brrrr !!! Thank goodness the sun is so bright and beautiful though. Tonight is the new Survivor so popcorn will be made and the phone ringer will be shut off.. giggle !! giggle !!
Yesterday in town I bought some seed tape for gardening... Spring WILL come soon I hope... It will be a treat to plant carrots and romain lettuce without having to thin the row after germination... I've heard that the seed tapes are a dream to use. the seed is right in the desolving tape that you plant in the prepared row... Yahooo !!!! I'm sooooo pumped up about spring !!! Although I will steal hubbys matches in the spring should he get the bright idea to burn the grass out of the raspberry rows... He burned all my canes last year although there were some "babies" that sprouted out of the ground promising fruit this year... No matches for hubby
Well, I'm gonna go stir my pot a beans on the woodstove... We should have a very musical family evening tonight ... Haa !Haaa !!! Have a great day everybody, Hugs, xxx

Wow nibs, that is -13 F. and things don't work very good at that temp. Once when I was in Colo. it was _20 for a couple of days and I pulled the handle right off of my car. Go figure.
I am good but busy, I had my beans last week, so it is quite here. ha ha.
