Hi all,
Took me awhile to get caught up. Things have been so busy here I havent been on as much as I should. I've been drinking more than normal this week think its PMS. I ordered antabuse from river awhile back and got an email today that it cleared customs so should be here next week. Thank God since we are going up to the mountains with friends next weekend and I was worried about that. Have decided to quit my job. I went by this eve to tell the owner but he was not there. I really need a couple months to sober up and lose some weight. I'm getting so fat. Also I want to get the house straightened up and get rid of alot of stuff.Do things I never had time for or was too tired for....am really having a problem with 2 of the chickens coming in the house and eating all the cat food. We dont have screen doors and like to leave the doors open when its nice out,but here they come click click with their feet and eat every bit of cat food. The cat is afraid of them. Sometimes they get on the couch if youre not watching and look for seeds the parakeets flick out. hahahahahahaha my mom would flip out, chickens in the house. My kid wants on now, I will be around more now. I am very excited about my new free time and th antabuse. love to all....bird

Good Lord bird. I have raised a lot of chickens and I know for sure that they leave deposits everywhere they go. Go buy a screen, or at least one of those deals that blocks the kids from leaving the room. I can't imagine having chickens in the house, it would be like having a ferterlizer plant in the house. ha ha

I has been a longer day today. I will be out for the weekend, so I don't know if I will be able to check in or not, but I hope you all have a great weekend

I heard you had chickens Bird!! In the house, hahahah, we had chicks in the house til they got old enough to be put out in the coop w/ the others, one day we were all out to work, school etc and when we got home the chicks had decided to fly the box they were in and left little "fertilizer" drops ALL over the kitchen floor,YUCK (we kept them out in the garage from that point on!) I love my chickens, BUT they are NOT allowed out of their "yard" we built for them, hubby got sick and tired of stepping in their SH*T................

LUV, good that Zac slept on the couch, my Zac did that for a while, probably at that age, if he grows to be like mine you will have a "lovey-dovey handful" He is soooooooo sweet, but a social butterfly, so a handful also!! Don't have any girls, but sounds like you have a hanful w/ your girly-girl!! Funny that both Zacs play baseball, mine is pretty good, so stick with it, it will keep him on the straight and narrow!! He plays spring, summer and fall.....keeps us busy too (where did I find time to drink!?!?)

Bear, you sound good AND positive, have to log onto this thread more often, guess I forgot it yesterday??!

Hey all! Hey Cowgal especially, nice to "meet" you again! Us Texans and Cowgals have to support each other! Bear, hope you have a great weekend, did you get snow? It was snowing up a storm here from about 4am, til nearly noon, amazing, then the sun came out, got to the 50's, and melted, now its really getting cold again since the sun went down! Crazy weather, sure glad I got in and out of DFW before all the delays and s--t hit the fan!!!!! Got my hair done on Weds., drove to Kilgore to visit my kinda Mom/Dad, bestest older pals, haven't been there since New Years Eve and Day, and had left my coat there, weather got iffy, so I spent the night there in Kilgore Texas, and drove home last night in the storm, big mistake, should've just stayed! Got a massage today, and foot detox, and went to the grocery, stocked up, and have a pork tenderloin cooking, a roast marinating, and chicken poblano pepper's cooking with figs, and goat cheese, and italian bacon...mini squashes are firmly implanted in roasted pumpkin oil, and homemade cornbread is baked...think we'll keep the fire in the fireplace, and movies in the DVD, and finish healing from the flu!!!! Bird, glad you are getting the Anabuse, Morrison and More2 will tell you its amazing, and I'm sure getting uncluttered, and re-charged, and deciding what you want to be when you grow up, will be a good thing...you can take time to go work-out or walk too, so you'll feel even better! Just don't make the mistake of having too much time on your hands, and drinking, I did that when I quit work, years ago, and it wasn't good, so make the very, very most of your time, to turn this around and have a great new career, all fresh, sober, and fit! You are such a great role model for the girls, that I'm sure you willl be the envy of everyone around you, you GO GIRL....You too Luvbug, get over the audit, and get a new life, you deserve the heck out of it! And for Zak, for Gawd's sake, get him in his own space...lol...kids made me so hot flopping all over me at night...whew....and omg, my aunt and uncle had an only child, and a big one at that, that slept with them til he was 12! PLEASE! lol So you are right to start nipping that in the bud! Ok, I'll check on ya'll tomorrow! Love you all tons, and tons, bushels and pecks!

Yes, he woke me up last nigbt to get in bed and cover up. I was to tired to fight him. I just moved over and let him in. He says he will sleep in his own bed when he gets hair on his chest..OMG!!!!!! LOL It could be awhile!!!!

Hi all,
Well I quit my job yesterday but they talked me into just taking a leave of absence for 2 months which is OK. At least I know I can go back if I have to or even want to. I got all my stuff outta there though, filled only 2 grocery bags after 14 years there. Hugged all those guys I work with, I really love them. Felt sort of like Dorothy in Wizard of Oz leaving on her way back to Kansas. Later my kids friend and her parents come over and they had a case of beer and pizza and firewood. I didnt really feel like drinking and was just sipping and going in and pouring it down the drain and getting another one and doing the same and wishing theyd leave and they did after about an hour. ...yeah, I have geen lucky so far about the chickens have not shit in the house yet and I have thought to put up a baaby gate too Bear a good idea. Tex you got in some snow. Geez we never see it here. Luve funny about Zacks hair. I let one of my kids cut my hair a couple months ago for fun. Bird, I remember that, you are very trusting. I wouldn't let my kids near my head!!! If you saw Zak's handy work, you would understand why. I hope the leave does you good. I know you have been needing it. Don't get bored and drink non-stop. It is easy to do when bored. You think you will just have 1-2 next thing it is 1-2 days later and you are hung-over begging God for mercy. I KNOW, been there, done that.

Today is a REALLY windy, docl day out. Me and Brit are gonna make a big lasagna and shee has a dessert she wants to make. She loves sweets, I am not a sweet eater at all! I don't even like sweet wines, etc... I am wondering where you buy AF wine? I would like to try it. I have never tried it before, but I would like to give it a shot. Wine is SO good with lasagna, but I can't do the AL. We all know where that leads me...down the damn drain quick and begging for mercy and rehab. I enjoy the taste of wine though. So, I am thinking about trying this, but I don't believe I have ever seen it at the grocery store. Of course, I have never looked either...I get my faves when going and don't even look at the rest of it. Funny, I wwas thinking when I first started drinking wine I drank White Zinfindel. I can not stand that now. It is like drinking candy. Hva enay of you tried the AF wine? What did you think? I am now on a med that I can not drink AL with. It could be deadly, so no AL for sure. I ain't lookin at checking out any time soon. ABout scared myself shitless last weekend, I was so damn sick this time last week. My flowers are still real pretty More2. They are really lasting awhile. I love you guys! I hope you all have a nice weekend. I will miss you Bear, but have fun. I am going to get groceries today. Tons of good stuff on sale today at Bi-lo. They have a huge sale twice a year...buy ten for ten. I will load up and stuff for the kids....it is usually kiddie foods.

Really? I was afraid of that. I have never tried one. I was wondering if they tasted the same. Well, my grocery does not carry them. So, so much for that. I suppose a higher class liquor staore may have them, but I ain't driving all the way in...I live 30 minutes from a large town. So, never mond that idea. I see people discuss the beer. Thought it might be an option. But, guess I better not tempt fate.

Luvs, the Ariel brand AF wine isn't bad. but be VERY careful if you are on antabuse as I'm thinking it would cause a reaction since there still is a tiny smidge of al left in it.

feeling really darn good here. went back to my martial arts class today for the first time in months..it was so great and I'm totally hyper! I might even shoot a pistol match tomorrow....wow, ME time! love it. Sorry I haven't read back very far yet...off to do that now.
