Hello Guys!!! Happy Thursday/Friday. Today is my last day of work for the weekend. Woo Hoo!!!!
It is beautiful here again today and I know some of you re probably in bad weather of floods, so I won't celebrate too much.

Nibs, I didn't even know you weren't AF already, you are always so a-ok, do tell us how you've been moding so well, we'll compare notes, I'm always scared I'll end up biting the dust one day! Boots, don't work too hard, and bless your heart so much for getting Luv bug into Lenair....I did hear from her, she's fine, she is going to Lenair, Zak was spending the night with her, she was very happy....she is supposed to check in with me daily.....I'll keep you up to date! Hi everybody. Just wanted to stop in to see what was going on. Sorry to see Luv won't be around, but very happy she is going to Lenair. She'll pull through. Bear, that avatar is funny. And congratulations on 11 months. Amazing. I just read the last couple pages, and it is amazing how far everybody has come. The tone in the posts is so telling. We've all come so far. I know personally, you can't tackle problems in life on your own all the time. God knows I've tried. It is important to trust in others, and be there for them as well. Pay it forward, right? It is amazing to come here to this thread today. It looks like things are great all around. TNT, we said this will be the best year yet? How's it going? Pretty good, right? Nibs, I thought you were AF as well. You are just so damn happy all the time. How do you do it? I love it. Bird, your stories always crack me up. You've got your own wild kingdom down there. Haha. Boots, your always sounding so upbeat too, must be all that tea. Haha. Cowgirl, good to see you posting as well. More2, I don't see you much anymore, but great to hear from you. Hi Guys Yep today is day 5 ! WoooHoooo !!!!
Actually Survivor was on a day early on a count of the Good Friday holiday... That sassy blonde got voted off. "Tracy" I'm not so into this survivor as the past ones.

Well Tex, I was AF for 73 days or so, then only had one or two on the weekends... then I would have a couple on Wednesdays also,,, We know how that goes. I could just "feel" myself slipping into some old patterns and was listening to my little voice. I will never ever be where I was before I came here. I'm not sure how long I will stay AF, but my body will tell me. I'm not sweating this but rather enjoying the refreshing feeling I have. I needed this cleansing time. When I do "mod" it will be just that. Or I will do this again.
Thank-You for the update Tex... there are so many of us here that love Luv dearly and are so concerned. She sent me a warm email, so I'm hoping to become her email buddy until she leaves for Lenair. Thank-You Lord !!!
So, a kudzu when I get home from work is my new friend of choice
So, I gotta go scoup some poop and tuck my critters in for the night...
Oh, I forgot !!! When I asked my Mom if Saturday was OK for hubby and I both to stop by, her reply was, " That should be ok" Naw... I didn't feel the love !!! Ha !! Haaa !!! She cannot stand my hubby because he stole her baby away you see... Oh well.. Hugs all around xxxx

Nibs, you are right where I am, during the flu, except for one evening, which was about 2 mos., I was AF, then one hot toddy, then a couple on weekends, but, thankfully, I don't feel any caving in yet, but if I do, I know my body will tell me too, or I'll have a headache...and I'll go AF again too...so far so good, but I'll never, ever, let myself slip up again, without seeing it coming, and if it does, ya'll will all be coming to get me, I'll let you take me wherever! Just talked to Bear, what a Teddy Bear, just love him, love talking to another Texican! What an inspiration he is, and ditto Morrison! And D, and Magic, and all of us really! Talked to More2 right after Bear, we've all come soooooo far since I got on here a YEAR AGO TODAY....a year ago, I talked to Southernbelle, and More2...while curled up in a ball, crying, about to die in the corner of the bathroom....we are making tracks guys! I told More2 this, and I know Bear is behind it....if any of us, cave, get in trouble, whatever, one or the other of us, will literally come physically get the other, and save us.....done deal, that is what this site has done for us, given us a life saving rope! Morrison, your story is amazing too, just not that long ago, we were all out of our mind for you, now look, what an great story! Great job dude! Ok, I know I've missed tons of ya'll, sorry, just trying to catch up....oh yeah, and where is Cindi????? Bird, what are your plans for Easter, I know its got to be a story! Having foals here left and right, I'll get you all pics soon! They are sooooo cute! Love you all! Tons!

Way to go Tex !!!! Isn't is wonderful to know that you are loved by so many people that you haven't even met in person? It is almost overwhelming. I'm getting pretty used to it though.. Giggle, Giggle.

Hi all,
I'm glad its Saturday and I got to sleep in if you call 730 sleeping in. I'm feeling kinda tired yesterday and today. Been working kike crazy around the house and seems like I'm up at the school half the time with school council, my mentee next week is honors day and one of my kids has a play the next day and Friday is planting day which is just awful. The whole school comes outside to plant flowers and last year only 2 parents showed up to help and its just wide open all day. Got a bunch of tomato plants yesterday I ordered from my kid she was selling for 4-h and need to get my garden started. Its really nice here and would like to go camping today or something. They have an egg hunt out at the state park we usually go to tomorrow so maybe. I've really been wanting to drink but I can't cuz of the antabuse. There are times I wish I'd not done it but every morning I'm glad I did. I'm just wide open untill bed time and not kicked back drinking. I guess you have to learn sit still without the booze. I'm coming up on 2 weeks and you know I never could get past 10 days before. Lately I couldnt get 5 days. I'll just stick with it. Hope all of you have a great day. Love ya bird

Happy Easter

Bear, TNT, Luv, Mary Anne, Nibs, More2, Det, Morrison, Magic, greeneyes, vettech, Bootsie, Janie, Bird, and anyone else I have missed.

Today is Saturday before Easter. I got out of detox yesterday. I checked myself in because I seemed unable to stay alcohol free just before taking my Antabuse. (Just one more time!!! )

So, I had my husband drop me off at the hospital ER, I told them I wanted to take Antabuse but needed to detox a couple of days and take my first pill before walking out the door.

They looked at me really funny and the shrink came in and we talked and voila, in the hospital, 3 days detox, Antabuse before I walked out!!

I woke up this morning, MADE my husband look at the pills so he knows what they look like, and swallowed it right in front of him. (along with the Gabapentin the shrink wants me to take, the Chantix I want to take, and my Nexium so hopefully none of this crap makes my ulcer any worse.)

Just letting all of you know where I have been and why I haven't been checking in.

I am not sure what happened to our Luv bug, I pray she is okay and will come back as soon as possible.

All my friends, I am one thrilled person. Today not only will I not drink, I cannot even slightly consider it. That is such a blessing.

Hope all are doing wonderfully. I missed all of you while laying around in the hospital.

Awww Cindi, Hon you will get through this.. Our Luv is doing really well... She is going to Lenair on the 10th (please correct me if I'm mistaken) of April and sounds sooooo upbeat. She has had her son over to spend some special sober time with her and she is really loving that !!!
Bird, I'm sooooooo proud of you !!!! soon enough new habits and lifestyles will kick in and your days will be filled, honest !! Just remember through the day how wonderful you feel with a clear non-guilty feeling in the mornings ... You are an amazing woman and such a wonderful Mom. If only there were more Moms like you in this world, it would be a better place xxx I cannot, wait to get into my garden that is now under 2 feet of snow and frost for the first 2 or 3 feet under that... ahhh spring !
Well, today I'll be in town at a BBQ and spending a visit with my Mom.... I'll carry you all with me and draw on your vibes should I need it when I do... I know I will... I'll be just fine xxx
