Yep, I hang laundry out as does most people around here....Our new laundry line is 75 feet long ! We have nice fresh clean air (unless the dairy farmer about a half mile away sprays liquid manure on his fields)...That smell is really strong for about 2 or 3 days...I'm a country girl through and through, but I'd never hang a nice bath towel out when the air stinks to high heavens.
So, today I spent some time packing the travel trailer. We always head up North on Mothers day weekend to leave the trailer. We'll be going with the boys the following weekend for our fishing trip on the long weekend. It would be nice to see the weather warm up a bit more, but atleast it isn't snowing anymore.
Well, I'm gonna jump into my jammies I think and work on my alfgan. Gosh, I just read what I typed and I sound like a little old granny !!! Haa !! Haaa !!

Nibs....I am SO jealous. I would love to go to your camp, how peaceful! I hope you have a wonderful time. Speaking of MANURE...made me think of a really funny story, around here, we have a bunch of chicken coops. Well, people use the chicken manure to fertilize with. One year Billy decides he will cover our WHOLE yard as people tell him that after the first rain, smell goes away etc....WELL, he brings in TRUCK LOADS, ok! It rains almost every afternoon and ONE MONTH later, i feel like I live in a third world country as there are so many flies and the smell, OMG!!!! It took 2-3 months for the bugs to go away and the smell too. I wanted to kill him. On the up side, the grass DID grow really pretty, but the price we paid..............OH NO!
Hope everyone is feeling well and happy. Where is Bird?

Welcome home DX !!! Give that Det a good pat on the back for the rest of us on his 90 days AF !!! Wow ! that is just awesome !! I've gone in a powderpuff derby salmon fishing... It was a blast and the highlight was catching a beautiful 12.25 lb salmon. Although I didn't win, we enjoyed fresh salmon for supper and had extra for a friend that had never eaten it.
A little later on today I have to go into town for a consultation with the dental surgeon. Remember that tooth that I wanted to have pulled? Well, he wasn't able to because of my gums being so close. I now have to go into hospital to have it pulled.. I'll be so relieved when it's gone. Thank goodness it doesn't bother me atall because in years past I had a root canal on that tooth so there is no feeling.
ya,,, where are ya Bird? I'm missing you Hon.

Well, an update on my $%@$%# tooth !!! (from hell)
We were waiting for the dental surgeon in the office. I filled out all the forms, gave them the x-ray of the tooth etc... waited and waited only to be told that they had a dental emergency, so everybody should reschedule... arggg ... Hubby was with me and had to meet with a homeowner at the foot of St. Joes Island, (1 hour drive), so we could wait no longer.. Well, it looks like next week I'll go in for my consultation, and hopefully get this ball rolling. I do believe and will always believe that everything happens for a reason.... While waiting, their was a lady sitting beside me that looked just "out of sorts"... When she came back in the waiting room after her consultation, I simply asked " did everything go ok?" She then proceeded to tell me that her loving botherinlaw from Halifax died just that morning from an aneurism (sp).. He was driving but pulled over and passed away... She just needed a compassionate person to talk to. I felt totally at ease with a lady I had never met knowing that I was helping in some small way. All her family was away on vacation and she said that all she did all day was pace her home. I'm just glad I was there for her. As I was leaving I said, "Take Good care of yourself Sweetie" and she simply said , "Thank-You" but her eyes said so much more, you know?
It really made me happy to be in that offfice all the same. I believe that there are times in our lives when the Lord uses us as his tool to help those in need.

I want to remind you all that I will be away from Friday until Sunday...
I hope everybody has a wonderful day today... Survivor is almost wrapping up tonight... I think the last one is on Sunday...

AWWW Nibs, a bitter sweet story. I am glad you were there for her. Mother's Day is quickly apporaching and although sobber, thus far, I am struggling BADLY. But, if anyone knows I know not to go there. My alcohol abuse is a direct result of depression, so I have to really stay in tune with that. Having a hard time getting my hinny moving today.

Hi all,
I had a long post and lost it .Oh well. I've been off antabuse and will have to get back on I see. Went back to work Monday and drank Monday and last night. Dont want to get back in that drinking after work routine. Gotta get my shots for school next week so will wait till thats over to start back. Otherwise things are good here. I made myself a great place to sit out in the yard with a little waterfall out of some old steps off a kid toy. I'm hoping it will attract some birds. I see the kudzu is starting to grow so will get back with that. My garden is doing well and I have my house in good order. School is almost out and there is alot going on with the kids that is fun. Glad to see everyone is doing well except for all the backaches. love you all...bird
