Tomorrow I finally have the 5k I have been training for.
After training for several months I decided that I hate to run.
After tomorrow I just don't think I can do it anymore.
There. I said it outloud for the whole universe.

I'm not a runner either. My back almost goes out of whack if I do it for any length of time.. I do however love to walk.. Why not enjoy walking in the future DX ? Maybe your body is trying to tell you something... Anyhow, make the most of this last run Hon.

It is so nice to get away for a couple days, but always so gosh darn nice to get home once again. Our trailer is parked up North where we will go for the long weekend with the boys. Hopefully the fishing will be good.
Ummm , I do believe I can smell garlic !! Det must be creating a masterpiece for his loverly wife Dx.
I hope that everybody is doing good.
I can't wait to get out in the garden working. We are still getting a little bit of frost, so it will be awhile yet. I have 2 baby cucumber plants in containers that I take in and out of the house that will go into the garden pretty soon. It is a sin to pay a dollar or more for one single cucumber when soon enough I'll be trying to give them away to every Tom , Dick and Harry.
Well, I had better sign off because there is a show I want to watch at 9 and have to hop into my jammies before hand.
I hope that all you Mommies had a wonderful Mothers Day. My hubby surprised me with a touching card sitting on my lawnchair this morning up in the bush. It was so nice to read it while hearing all the birds and overlooking the lake of glass-like water.

Nibs that is so nice!!! I had the Mother's Day from hell, we were going to Charleston for seafood but it rained here like a hurricane sooooooooooooo, nope didn't do that! Brit acted like a FOOL yesterday, TEENAGERS........I don't know if we will make it!!!!!! Tell me again why we have these little human beings (devils)......ha ha Day ended good though......love you all!

Our boys can be a real "pill" sometimes too, so it isn't a gender thing... I honestly believe also that our children vent on us because it is the utmost compliment that they trust us with their fagile emotions... Just think of it as the utmost compliment that your Brit can give you !!! xxx

Well, I have #2 son home from school today. When we got home yesterday he was complaining of a really sore throat. Right now he is all tucked in on the couch. I went to his room and found his pillow and afaghan.. They seem so sweet and helpless when they don't feel well, almost makes you forget when they "cock-off" to ya !!! LOL !!

Lisa, do you have any idea when you will be coming up to Canada? I was just talking to my dental surgeons office this morning and they are scheduling into June... I will have to go first of all for a consultation next week and we'll go from there... this tooth just doesn't seem to want to be pulled !
If it is duct tape that will keep that sassy gal put in her chair it had better be the good stuff that "Red Green" uses !!! LOL !!!

So, tomorrow is "Track and Field " day at our local High School... We will have students from all around this area there. I'll be off to the side in a dining tent selling burgers, confectionary, drinks and baked goods. It will be nice to be outside for a change

I just got home from the track and field meet. It was pretty chilly, but I dressed warm. It's great to see the kids do physical activities rather than watching TV. I hope that everybody is having a nice Tuesday... I gotta go grab my clothes off the line... Hugs, xxx
