Hi all,
We went camping last night since there was a cold front. Thats still 90 and 63, too hot but we took 3 fans with us. There was barely anyone there and we went swimming and biking. No campfire though,too hot. Kept the rain flap off the tent so we could see the stars, it was fun. Kinda tired today though, we went swimming at city pool this afternoon. The kids want to go canoeing tomorrow and then there is a childrens parade tomorrow eve if it doesnt rain. My stimulas check is supposed to be here Saturday. Hope that lady with the house lets me know something by then. My landlord said she called him for a reference. We are watching the baby borrowerers. It is pretty good. Luv, I'm right behind ya with 11 days. I'm taking a whole antabuse a day so I wont be tempted to experiment around. Love to all....bird

Just wanted to jump in and say what a great time I had with More2 today. I could have stayed there all afternoon but had a kid to get home to. The restaurant was great and the company even better.

Good Morning!!! Hopping on here early and then busy, busy - trying to leave work an hour early and then off for the 4th week end with my family! Funnnnnnnn! Leaving poor hubby home becaues he has to work and doggy sit!

Congratulations to all for AF days! On to healthier, happier lives, right? This Independence Day (in the US) will have different meaning to me. Personal freedom from the dependence on alcohol! :grouptrophy:

Man I soooo jealous! I wish I could've had lunch with More2 and Lushy, I'm gonna have to fly out there before More2 moves, and have lunch with the girls! I may just come during the week by mysself, I'm betting us girls could navigate the boat too, or twist More2's hubby to be our captain!!! LOL Bird, you are the BEST MOM! Worth to the World Paint horse show...Lola is showing on Sat. in the Overo color championship class, which she won unanimous at the Pinto World, they are doing a magazine article on her as the Perfect Paint horse, so I'm hoping she gets the roses and the World champ. title on Sat....You can log on at APHA.Com - Welcome to the Association and got to World Show, and live cam, and its the 4th class, not a riding class, probably around lunch Texas time, or 11am give or take...and go to the live cam at the John Justin, or whatever class has the live feed, and you can watch...she's drk bay and white, with a guy with kinda blondish red hair (not hubby, trainer), and her name is Kiss A Belle....with Fred Tabor....you'll hear me screaming in the stands for her! Hope everyone has a safe, and sober, and FUN 4th of July! We'll be with tons of horsey friends from all over the world, so it'll be a big and rich weekend! I am going Aug 1st and am so excited about it. I have never done anything so out of the ordinary but I do believe that you, me, and so many others will be healed and I do believe it comes from God. Satan would never want us to be healed. Ever. Sorry if this sounds too Christian, but if you are not a Christian, just change the names...

Oky, I know you will be a-ok too! And you also Cindi! I will never rule out a thing for recovery, right now, I'm just going to give God a lil bit more time with me, here at home, and see if I can do it on my own, if not, I'll go to Plan B, no doubt! And yes, my hubby will support me in anyway I choose also, he knows it my choice tho, and that I have to do it myself also. I love you all, each and everyone, and you will be in my prayers Oky, I'd love it if you'd PM me your first name, its easier for me to pray with a real name...lol.... I love the thought Best that Independence Day has a special meaning for us...free from the supression of AL!!!! God bless us all...... I had 1 tiny craving this week and that was Monday, the rest of the week I honestly dont give it a thought....grocery shop..never even think about it. It is later in the day I realize...dang...went to the store and no wine.....I am gonna have SO much money!!!! Treated me, Brit, and her friend to a pedicure. I am making a huge fruit salad, potatoe salad, mac salad, and brisket for tomorrow. Zak said "dang Mama how many salad do we need".....he is so crazy.

LOL More2, this addiction I can LIVE with!!!! We are going to a friends for BBQ and lots of people will be there. I like to cook, she doesn't so I volunteered. I think I am so happy to be feeling good that I enjoy the BUSY. There have been so many days i had to force myself to just make it through.

A big warm welcome Oky and SunDaisy !!! We all love to have new people join us... Almost like a yummy salad that Luv has made really LOL the more ingredients in there the better.

I've not been on the computer for the last few days... My job at the tea house is going really well. I work with some great students that I also see at our local high school I work in. It certainly is a different pace though... Quite slow and layed back. I'll have to remember how to "fly" once I get back into the caffeteria.
You are all doing absolutely amazing and I'm so gosh darn proud of you !!! I'll cross my fingers for Lola tomorrow Tex... She is such a stunning paint !
So, after work today I picked up #2 son a whack of chicken wings and I grilled some tasty chicken breast... #1 son has gone out to camp with hubby and his friend. They will be staining the dock and hauling some sand for the beach. After work tomorrow I'll be heading out for the night. Our dogs will travel with me, although they sure wanted to leave with hubby today. We figured this way the dock can be stained without the dogs walking on it.
Oh, and More2 I'll have to get a picture of my little blue spruce to you... I'm not sure if I have your email, so could you please PM me with it.
Well, I'm just going to head out to do my barn chores before making a bowl of popcorn... It is kinda nice having an evening with my "little" boy... He'll likely eat the last of his wings that he couldn't finish earlier... giggle , giggle..
