WOW, everyone is doing sooooo GREAT! I'm so proud of us all, I'll be even more proud of myself soon! Happy B-day Boots! I'm 48 too! Got a busy day, hubby and I both going to town for the day, doing some acupuncture too....lol.....Heard from More2, her ass is flat from driving from Seattle to Palm Desert.....omg....said the fires were awful in N. Calif., so they didn't even stop. She should be frying by now, PD was 112 yesterday! Love you all, will check in tonight! Cowgal, did you find out about Lenair in Houston yet? Love you all tons and buckets! And LUV, 30 dys! OMG....Bear is doing wheelies for all of us I know, you esp!

Morning all,
Cindi I am so excited for you. I stayed at Applewood Manor B&B. The couple is simply wonderful and the home is so inviting and welcoming. I paid @ 400 US for 5 nights and 5 really good breakfasts. Ralph even asks you what you want. The place is spotless and there is a pool and a covered verandah for relaxing. I have stayed in several B&B's on 2 continents and Applewood was by far the best. There is a guest fridge where you can keep your "soda" cool. I would love to go back just for a holiday and of course, Vermont is beautiful.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately ALL the B&Bs in the area are booked up.

So, I am staying at the Best Western. It will be fine.

The best Western in Rutland? that is where we stayed. It was nice. It is only about 20-25 mintues from Lenair. You will love Vermont, it is so beautiful there.

I'm really enjoying the cute little tea house. It is so nice to work at a place where you feel so appreciated. Our boss Pam gave us all a coupon for an ice-cream cone today as an extra thank-you gesture. She used to be a teacher, then a principal before retiring. I just love listening to all the stories.

Well, I'm going to get out of my work clothes, so I'll catch up with you all likely on Sunday. Tonight we are going into the small town of Thessalon. We have been invited to a stag and doe... Drinking and Driving don't mix ! We are going to head from there to camp cross country to drop off some cement footings. The camp needs to be jacked up and put on solid footings before hubby will rebuild the front porch. Well, yesterday was hot and dry as was today... If we are lucky we will have a message tomorrow around noon to come for the hay wagon. Please cross your fingers for me. I can use all the help I can get... "Rain Rain Go Away Come Again Some Other Day" !!!

send me the rain Nibs! My flowers need some. We were hoping to go boating this weekend. Having the seat re-covered in the boat...it isnt ready yet. Then thought...that is ok I can go swimming but pool wont be ready until next weekend. well crap! So, I am bored.
