Luv, I emailed Nibs too but haven't heard back either, did TIT get her? I didn't check back so far, but when on the phone to TIT the other day I told her she (Nibs) was missing, I don't have Nib's phone #, sorry, hope she is just working her tail off and tired, GOD knows I know the feeling.

I am doing ok, a little antsy about working again, this doc is wonderful to work for, but EXTREMELY particular on how he likes things, and being "so new"(Won't be able to use that excuse much longer,as I have been there about 2 weeks the end of this one!) I am still fuzzy on what to do, let alone waiting on him hand and foot!!!

Only have 2 1/2 days this week, not really looking forward to Thanksgiving, AF and all that stuff, the entire in law family drink like fish..............:upset:............really! I will enjoy trying my best to help out, arrive late and leave early, go to an AA meeting here and there to stay grounded..................a game plan/escape plan. This will be my first Thanksgiving sober!! (maybe pregnant days! but usually not pregnant yet so who knows!? Will be an experience nevertheless.)

Good Morning All,

Very cold Sunday here. I'm looking forward to a day of hanging out, mostly indoors, with the girls.

Not very concerned about Al over TG. It will be just my immediate family this year my husband will drink very little if anything. I'm doing a 5 mile turkeytrot (race) in the am.

Cowgal, Just think what a good role model you will be for your boys as one of the very few people who are drinking on TG.

No worries with AL here over thanksgiving..THANK the GOOD LORD! I have list made this morning to go do my shopping. Brit is making her squash casserole and Zak the mac-n-cheese (not really but we're pretending he is wink wink...) In the south we make homemade mac-n-cheese...YUMMY

I tracked our Nibsters down...thanks Bird! She can run but she can't hide. I told her she can't leave and take the damn spy goat! HEY!!!! Anyway she is gonna try to post today. Computer is on the fitz right now and needs a good cleaning of all the dowloads the kiddies love to do...ya know how that goes...right? She sounds great...I miss her so much and love her more! Was a good chat!

I'll be the only one not drinking at the sister's house too, but it doesnt' phase me. But they all drink normally. Except the niece has to be careful - she's a bit like me.

I decided I didn't need my antidepresssant anymore so I quit cold turkey and came here without refilling my prescription. Whoa, not a good idea. I gotta get to the pharmacy up here and pop a pill. They weren't kiddding abut the side effects of cold turkey. For a smart person, I can be such a strong-willed moron! :H There's a couple letterbox near the town I have to go to so I'll check them out!

As you may remember we have a new horse at our place named Freckles... she is such a darling but afraid of cows. We have cows down every road and I'm just not safe on her... I have the "Pony Club" interested in her so she may become a lesson horse. The care there is just wonderful and I would be happy sending her there. It's in the hands of the Lord and what will be will be.

Last week was the first week since September that Marilyn has not been to badly on my case. Maybe she will leave me alone to do my job now. I can only hope because I really love working at the school.

Cowgal, how are your horses? Are they still being stabled at a friends?

What does it mean that a hitchhiker was @ the letterbox????

EDIT: I googled and found my answer. Here it is: A Hitchhiker is a letterbox that is placed in another letterbox, and is moved from box to box as it is found. It is typically simply a stamp and a logbook, although it can have its own container as well. Hitchhikers count towards P's and F's; the creator may count it as a P, while everyone (except the creator) who finds it in the future, regardless of where, counts it as an F. Wanda and Pete keep a hitchhiker tracking page. (Y2K Bug is believed to be the original North American hitchhiker).

Now I just need to figure out the P's and F's thing!

Hi all,
We went to see Twighlight yesterday. I fell asleep and the kids woke me up so I would'nt snore. It was ok but a bit too teenage for me. Everyone sounding well and there you are Nibs. Hey I want to get into that letterboxing. Theres a good thing to do. Well I'm laid off this week and already have the house cleaned up so I can get out and do some things. Think we might gas the car up for Tday and go somewhere. Gas is down to 1.67 here. I'm not into cooking all that stuff and my kids don't care about it. They feel sorry for the turkeys. It really ends up just a big pig-out for the cat and a mess for me. I'm off to do laundry....love you all bird

I don't think Iwill have much free time to letter box until after the holidays, but it does sound fun. Brit is one PISSED off 14 yr old girl today...her Daddy has decided to go skiing with GF instead of having thanksgiving with them this year....she is PISSED....plus he spent his entire weekend with them shopping with GF ...she said each shop they went in the salesperson would say "oh you guys are going skiing for Thanksgiving and Brit would say ..."no we weren't invited"...OMG!!! She was in rare form last night!!!! Wouldn't even hug him goodbye when he brought them home. I said...you got me...and a huge turkey, what more could you want??? She was not amused! Sometimes I think he has his head in his ass....I mean the slopes are open for months...pick another time to go. IDIOT! Oh well...his loss....not mine. We are going to our zoo after dinner that evening...they decorate with lights for Christmas...kids love it.
