Hi all
It is pouring like a monsoon out there. CG I bet you are getting it. Not much here the kids are playing games. Had to pop an antabuse this morn, wish I could stop taking it.....built a giant chicken coop from 3 trampoline frames cuz the chickens kept going in the road and was afraid they would be run over. Anyway ended up letting them out anyway,all of them squaking like crazy to get out oh well

Bird, thought about calling you today, just got home from Thomasville for a dinner-thingy..........it was raining horribly the entire way there and back, thought about drinking too, but didn't cuz I was on here on a different thread...........it really helped to have my itouch phone........I love it, I stay logged on here in case I need it.

Day 5 and feeling ok, just got home and planning to watch some TV now, then turning in early, busy day tomorrow as it is supposed to be nice, sure hope the weatherman is right, I am SICK of this rain!! Planning the gym, pool, and a ride on the horses w/ my girlfriend who lives up there, just had dinner w/ her today and she is dying to ride, as am I !

Yeah, Bird, I hear ya on the chickens, ours squawk to get out of the coop all the time too, and recently have been venturing out of the yard, mostly I am worried about the foxes though, saw one running out of my yard last pm when returning from my AA meeting/dinner/fellowship..............was hoping the coop was shut and it was.........

Hello everybody
I survived my long weekend shifts and now have a day off... I'm just kinda laying low doing laundry and planning a nice spagetti supper...

Congratulations on 14 days or perhaps now it is 15 days AF for you.. Yaaaahoooooo !!!!!!!!!!! You are so wise to excercise to get back those natural "feel good" feelings.

Sorry about all the rain you have been getting Bird and MA... Today we woke up to freezing rain but it has now stopped...

I really really feel like drinking right now, but will not thanks Nibs..................just stopped home on my way to the horses (mentally dragged down by the drive to see them etc, thinking of escaping etc.........)

Thanks again to this site I will not drink today, will attend a meeting tonight if I can, gotta check the schedule, I know that will help................ a little apprehensive about work now, did I tell you all about my "new employee evaluation" (humiliation??) Well I need go no further.........that was last Friday, my downfall..........big time..................will worry about tomorrow when it gets here and hope I keep having the job.................

We had a mini flash flood. It was so fast geez the road looked like a river. Had to put the chickens on their perch for the night. Lucky we didnt have a tornado I guess. CG you can call anytime.......we dug a garden today since the ground was so wet, but still hard work. Didnt plant anything yet since mostly just mud out there....hey nibs we had spaghetti too...bird

yeah

our yard flooded but it always does, we have a swamp in the back yard when we are not in drought territory, so I like the drier weather, though it hurts our trees, which I love..............

Man Bird that looked worse than our yard though.................

Off to get ready for another day at the office tomorrow, had a great ride in awesome weather besides the wind.................getting a really nice tan, I am sure my doc will look down upon that, but cannot help it, I tan well........................hopefully won't get skin cancer since I have blue eyes and (used to) blonde hair................actually was white blonde when I was in my 20s................that is when we did all our damage to the skin, don't really care at this point, just enjoy sitting by the pool, it is therapy...................had lots of that today, w/ horses and gym and pool..................

Oh, got my hair cut really cool Sat AM, will try to change my pic so you all can see the new me...........I love it!

I did drink last night, did't make my meeting and only had 3beers, but felt tired this AM.........other than that I enjoyed it........I know this is dangerous, but gotta move on and not near myself up for it..........will not drink tonight ..............hopefully......

Oh, More2 I can only imagine how sad you must feel when your sun leaves... A piece of you I'm sure tags along to always be there for him. You are such a wonderful Mom and he is blessed to have you in his life.

Well, I found out today that I'll be working again this weekend.. the same hours too... ugggg.... 11.5 hours on Friday and then out Sat am at 9-4.... I'm gonna just get to bed good and early all week so as to make the best of this. One day off a week is kinda tough.

Well, I should get my butt in gear and do my chores early so I can relax with my crochetting before bed... I did have hopes of doing a workout, but I'm running all day as it is and quite honestly I'm too pooped.

Nibs, yes it eas the installers fault, but he is gonna fix it. I wasnt to happy with him today and he knows it. But, you are right it will be fixed. You aure are working alot. Almost time to go to the lake isn't it?

MA, where's the pic of the new you? Luv, I'm not in Colo. right now, its foaling season, and we have 4 mares past due, driving us crazy! I'm sure they are gonna do the "nanner nanner boo boo" sticking their tongues out at us, and have them all starting at midnight, APRIL FOOLS, that's gonna be us, cuz we've been watching them since their due dates, last week! Anyway, we are tired, but still excited to see what we get, have 2 very nice ones on the ground now. Sunday grilled out there, watched over them, and just watched the new babies run, stumble, and chase each other, its my fav farm time of the year! The weather here has been mostly awful too, monsoon, to hail, to freezing temps, then warmer, then cold again. House in Ft. Collins did get a blizzard, all our friends called and said it was a white out, but the next day got near 50, then yesterday 50mph winds, and cold as a well diggers ass! Crazy weather all over! Today is pretty here, 70, supposed to be 47 tonight, it'd sure be nice if the "girls" would give birth during daylight! Sorry to hear about everyone else's trials too! Bird, what a pic! More2, I know its tough putting son on the plane, you'll see him soon again tho! It's been over 6 wks. since I've had any correspondance with my daughter, longer than ever in our lives, amazing, I'm to the mourning stage now I guess, but I'm not giving in, the ball is in her court. I'll check ya'll soon, and give ya the foaling report. Love ya all, and Spedteach, I'm sooo proud of you, you are doing awesome!
