Goodmorning all my loves in AF world...sitting here drinking coffee on yet another clear headed morning, TODAY is the LAST day of school and Zak has only 3.5 hours of school left as he has been counting down the hours since Monday morning when he had 22. (which I thought was hysterical...he is 8 yrs old) So, we are finished with 3rd grade and 7th grade today as my daughter finishes 7th and progresses to 8th. OMG...after 8th we go to high school...I will start drinking again then!!!! makes me want a drink now and it is 6 in the morning! LOL Seriosly, feeling in good spirits lately even through the stresses of life with kids, Mama, etc...nothing I can't handle. Just keep trying.

I have been having a lot of stresses lately, it seems almost like a test. But, I am still good, just a little more tired lately.

Hello all.

Day 4 here - On Topa also on day 4. I have set myself up to take it about an hour before I would normally drink. It seems to be helping.

I am concerned about this weekend though. I will be heading out of town tomorrow and will be up at my firends who I havent seen in a year BBQing and Fishing all weekend. He is a very heavy drinker.

I will be honest. I have decided I am not going to worry whether I do or dont. I will just relax and have some sodas and if the mood strikes me then we will see. There is no sense in putting pre-stress on the situation because then I'll obsess over it and likely work myself INTo drinking

So... I will give you all a report when i get back on Tuesday. Heres to staying AF for 4 days though

Thanks for the support Tatz and Niblet it was really nice to read !! Still haven't made my day 1 though (and am reminding myself of my recent 30 - thanks again Tatz!), but I will.

Bear I hope you are managing to manage the stress! I start a stress management course in the next couple of weeks so if you want some pointers.....

Thanks Amelia. Actually it is only one day fishing but I could sure use the outdoors and a bit of rest just kicking back. More than that I think I just need a change of pace. Know what I mean?

Luvuall - My daughter is on her way to her first job interview today... I know it sounds cliche' but she is still just a little girl to me. It's been so wonderful watching her grow up and start to gain her independence.
