Tit, I'm excited to see how your dream unfolds in life. That was amazing! MA I am amazed that you are fitting school into your already crammed life! What a great step for you! Luvie, you hate April? I hope you get past that. Ther is no need to relive sadness over and over just because of a date. Look around and look at all the life and beauty in spring blossoms. Well Luv, I decided not to order because I've been experiencing topa-dopa...(3 days of 25 mg. only) gosh, Marilyn even asked me today if I was medicating myself with horse meds?... But she is a big "B" anyhow though.
I'm pretty proud that I didn't have my usual "Winey Wednesday"... and will remain AF all week... today is day 4.

Hello Bird, (last time you were askin' what's cookin?) today I actually cooked on the woodstove. It was chilly in the house so I had Ryan start a fire. Amanda is over so we made sweet and sour chicken breast, side of boiled rice and corn. Simple and yummy. Hubby and #2 son had their dentish appointment today so they will eat when they can feel their faces... ha... haa..
I think I'll grab a shower and settle into bed early with a book.

Well it is Thurs. AM and I have 1/2 hour to kill before I have to go into the office........took Zac to school (has to be there at 7:45 and I don't go in til 8:30) TIT, enjoy your trip, glad the foals are ok and you can get some rest....

Nib, how wonderful to be off all summer......worth all the crap you deal with, huh???

Studied all night last night, man this is goig to be tough, but worth it.......

E home all shitfaced at 8 or so,complaint about me studying instead of being all talkative etc......ha was obnoxious and proceeded to go to bed (pass out) at about 8:30.......Only had to deal with the crap for 20 min or so..........

My first hummingbird today! And I have nuthatches in the birdhouse.

Peppermint ice cream is on the agenda today. (drumroll) 10 months!

Off to the hole. It seems to be getting bigger or deeper. At least it's not mine anymore. My stuff is in order.

Hello all, just stopping by before heading out to bring the horses and goats in for the night.... What beautiful weather we have had lately here !! Hubby actually rototilled the garden today although it is quite wet yet that's a start. Next we'll renovate my raspberry rows into one neat row, add some peatmoss, and fertilizer before planting... yahoooo !!! although we will have frost danger for quite sometime yet.
Thanks More2 I hadn't realized actually that it would have been "this" week that it would be 2 years for our Bear... How I miss that gentle, gentle man. As you guys likely have done too, I've looked back many times and once again gain strength from his wise words. Yep, I'm missin' him...

Well, anyhow I have to get up again at 5:30 so I'll be tucking in early... Thank the dear Lord that tomorrow is Friday... After work I'll be stopping for 1 drink at Audreys,(she has my back and I have hers at work) Her mothers birthday was last Tuesday but sadly her last remaining sibling passed away and they didn't celebrate on that day... It will be a sort of sad visit for me as this sweet little old lady reminds me of my gramma alot. I just wanna give her a hug and a beautiful birthday card with a smile.

I am off today, just wanted to check in and say hi.....................will probably study my butt off, as this sociology stuff is alot of learning..................lots of names and theories etc to memorize.....................it is good for me though, a step in the right direction, and something good for me to focus on.

Good morning everybody,
Happy weekends to all. I'm taking a day off to head up north to visit friends and do some biking on mountain roads. Only problem is it's 35 degrees down here at 5000 feet and there's a 70% chance of snow this afternoon in the mountains. Oh well, can't change mother nature. It will just be good to get out of town. Am taking antabuse before I head out so drinking will be out of the question. Has anyone ever tried to drink with antabuse in their system. It ain't fun.

WOW Spedteatch, 36 days now! (but who is counting, right!?) I only have a mere 14 days, but I am counting and will have 36 in a while, I feel so good don't want to ruin it by drinking right now!

LUV, we are over 1/2 way through April, sorry this is such a tough month for you, hun, but I know w/ your strength, you will prevail. And have a blast at the baseball park, I miss those days w/ my Zach, now he is at concerts instead, not the same! Enjoy!!!!:l

TIT, I hope if you are in Col. the storms are not hitting you too bad! Looks like they are getting lots of snow right now..................:l

Everyone else, have a wonderful Sat.....................off to the gym, pool, study, ride, then a huge AA spaghetti dinner at a friend's mansion, literally it is the most beautiful house in Tallahassee, (most of FL if you ask me!), with gorgeous gardens, ponds etc.........he does this twice a year and it is an event not to be missed, will gain a few pounds tonight, but that is why I go to the gym so much, to ward off the weight, finally back to normal and want to stay that way!

Hi there, haven't felt brave enough to post on the 30 days thread before-cos I don't usually get past 3! But today is day 6 And I'm doing OK feeling better today than the previous 5 days, finally slept properly last night.

Seem to have loads of energy in the mornings but ready to sleep earlier in the evenings??? Going to try a run this afternoon and enjoy that I have the house to myself until this evening.
