opps, cyber trick....I also mentioned that Best and Greenie were healed, ya'll are the only ones I've known, and anyone can voice any opinion, that were, out of how many??????? Yes, God has told me in vivid instances to cut back, and I have, and yes, I've fallen....that doesn't make my healer, any less of an influence than anybody's else's, it is my problem, and I am responsible for the outcome. I am sorry I was sooooo adamant, but I personally know several folks comtemplating going there, and I hate for them to pin all their hope, and money on it, when 2 people we know of, have benefitted. Please, please others that have been healed, please let us know, I stand corrected. SORRY!

I am sorry, and stand corrected.....those who were helped need counting, and I hope those that weren't will let the info. help those comtemplating going. I don't think her website and literature, states that it will help.....initially, unless you choose to drink again, for personal reasons, or anything else. She touts an over 80 percent cure, and I'll eat my computer if that many are healed. I'm sooooo very happy for anyone that beats this beast, however they can. I didn't criticize ANYONE ON THIS SITE PERSONALLY AT ALL! I had issue with the Lenairs, not anyone here, so I kinda take offense to being slammed personally myself. I didn't do that to anyone else. Lordy mercy, anyone would be sooooo very proud to be one of the ones that was cured! It'd be priceless!

Just for the sake of clarification, the Lenairs were specific and clear with me concerning that I could never drink again. Barry said, "You understand, that you can never drink again, right?" And in the Live Blog Radio program that was presented just recently, specifically to provide information for MWO members this topic was discussed and covered in detail. These broadcasts are also available on the Lenair website.

I checked out a rehab that was over $70,000.00 for a 30 day stay. They were all too ready to make arrangements for a second mortgage for me, if I didn't have the cash. LOL! Rehab failure rates are documented to be 70%. Only 30% of the patients who attend, successfully attain long term sobriety. This information is offered, simply as that - information . . .

MWO works for some, not others....
Lenair works for some, not others....
Rehab works for some, not others....
Religion works for some, not others....
Some have a combo to achieve success....
There are a TON of methods.....I don't even know them all because new ones keep popping up, seems many here are doing Baclofen now...that wasn't here when I came here 2+ yrs ago.
It doesn't matter how you get there.....we are all just trying to get there and stay there.

I hope it was not me who started anything here, I know Rhonda healed me and I was the nutcase who thought about drinking and did it, then could not stop again, for me, baclofen is doing wonders, wish I would have known about this 10 years ago!!!!! Would have saved myself and my family from all the pain and suffering I and they have been through........

Just a big thank you to Dr. Ameison for his findings and the book he has written, has given me a new lease on life..............my only regret is not having this sooner!

Exactly MA, and LUV, I probably started it, because I had 2 folks PM me, knowing I'd gone with MA, and wanted my opinion of the deal. If lots of ya'll had gone to say...."Promises" rehab, and only 30% were a-ok, I'd have the same opinion....like LUV says, many, many choices. I was just stating how I felt. Beatle posted on the consolidated bac thread, the second one in line, you can read it if you'd like. Hell we all know we shouldn't and couldn't have a drink again, if we told each other that everyday, never take another drink, we'd cure each other if we all had the constitution to do so, and we wouldn't need this site! I totally think everyone should do what they need to do. I'm sorry as hell I brought it up! NEXT SUBJECT! lol

We have been on this thread 2.5 years and this is our first disagreement...I think we have done pretty darn good if ya ask me. Agree to disagree and move forward...

Went to bookstore today. I wanted to buy a new bible. Who knew there are SO many versions of the bible. I thought the bible was the bible. However, I am glad I found one that I actually understand. I mean it is in lamens terms for the rere's like me! LOL I snatched it up quick. The Recovery Devotional book I read each morning now, I am supposed to read a corresponding bible verse....well if you don't really understand what the verse is saying sometimes it isn't going to help you much. I mean the entire bible is not that way, but certain passages are. This one I completely understand.

Zak has his first dance tonight...don't mind telling you he smelled like he was sprayed by every lady at the Macy's cologne counter when he left here this morning. LOL I said ...SON did you get enough cologne on? Lordy, my eyes were watering!!!!! He said he MIGHT dance...ha ha ha

Luv, really, my first cyber upheavel! lol That is soooo funny about Zak, I just have a total visual of him like Lynus on Charlie Brown, with a big 'ol cloud of perfume surrounding him! If he's like most boys his age I've known, he'll have blown the stink off by tonight, and probably need the extra fufu! lol I'm packing up stuff to leave in the morning, I'll check in next week, anybody that wants to call me tomorrow and talk, its a long road thru Kansas, I may get sick of talking to Normie!
