Yes, it is Mayor McCheese. I used to post a ton on here, and Bootsie called me Mayor Morrison. I told her I have as much credibility as Mayor Marion Berry or Mayor McCheese. So, people started calling me McCheese. I switched my avatar to Mayor McCheese, but a lot of people didn't like it, so I split it between McCheese and Mr. Burns. I say it is to represent the dichotomy of the drunk. One happy, waving cheeseburger head happy guy and one miserable old mean man. But, I still like your sesame street characters. God, I loved that show.

yes morrison is our mayor at mwo. and thank you morrison as i have been working all day and just checked in. you know how very jealous barbi gets when you don't speak directly to me. hahahahaahhaahhaha i hate having to share you. but, sigh share you i must. i think some of the people i know must be meth crack heads ah because they are seriously wacked out. lol but honestly babe. keep that girly out of your life or tell her you will be calling the cops. no questions asked. and niblet i understand completely about hubby. my hubby and i are the same way too. and i feel that way about my friends as well. love and adore them. i will definitely be keeping track of boots stories. and guess what i have unlimited internet on the cruise. so i can check in i think and say hello while on the love boat. i think how's dad who is 80 and his nephew who is 28 are going to have a really good time. well a bit more work and then what to take on trip???? packing????? oh boy. i'm excited now.

Boots, I hear what you are saying. My best freind is in the Middle East right now. Has been since this mess started. He sent me a song one day and said I think about you when I hear this. It's Eve 6, Friend of Mine. Not really a band I'm into. But I think it was the one lyric. It goes' "Don't look back, the past is just that. We are, We are, we are AWAKE!!." check it out if you have time. It really touched me that he would think of me, especially in the shit hole he is in. Can't wait until he gets out.

Got it Morrison !! jentend your heart. Now the word "jentend" didn't translate to anything but the same word... I do not know what that would refer to... Humm guessing maybe she is saying " Jenn tend your heart" meaning her name is Jenn and she wants to tend it to take care of it... Just a guess. Jenn must be one hot number !!! Tee !! Heeee!!!

Thanks Nibs. I guess that is the beauty of music. You don't even have to know what the words mean. The music is so powerful. I just always liked that lyric. Maybe that was the point. Leaving room for interpretation. I think "I can hear your heart" was the point of it anyway. And, maybe there is a Jenn, and I will meet her when I get off of this crazy ride. I look forward to the day when I can say, "jentend ton coeur, jentend ton coeur, I can hear your heart." Hey, it could happen.

hey guys just checking in real quick....brother is here!!!! YEAH!!! he looks great...mama was so happy...jumped out of wheel chair i was having to hold up from wanting to run past the security gate, she was crying...so excited! don't leave for the beach til tuesday am....today we will rest some....tomorrow i tie up things at the office...and then off we go.

Niblet, I awoke this morning to a very messy house, 3 teenagers and 2 big dogs make one big mess and don't clean up!!!!!

I am well, the topa dopa causes the confusion, I am doing charades now so the kids can guess the words! Seems to work, although it can be embarrasing in public.

Pretty kitten above, Jemimah, wanted to play with toes or her mother most of the night. Her mother just jumped off the bed leaving me to fend off kitten. How is that fair?

My third anniversary AF is coming shortly, I am planning a chocolate party. Chocolate everything, everywhere.

30 Days or less?

I started reading over the introductory posts for this thread, jumped to the end to see what was being talked about currently, and upon noticing music decided to jump it. :H

I laugh like that because of my love for music added to a desire to get sober! I've heard that particular overlap between art and sobriety can be a dubious one. However, I'm sure it's been done.

Only on day 17 AF. I've been spending some time the past four days over in the Just Starting Out thread.

Hello William. Yes, 30 days or less, or 30 days or more. It was started by LuvUAll as a goal to 30 days, but she has crushed that goal, and is pushing at 4 months. I did 2 months myself at one time, but have struggled recently. So, I guess it is a thread for anybody that has the goal of being AF for good, even if they struggle. Thanks for stopping in. And congrats on 17 days. That is awesome. Please continue to stop by to let us know of your progress. Lots of fine people on here.
