I only posted my AF years so Niblet wouldn't wonder about me, I am glad to say I no longer struggle with the "demon" alcohol, just chocolate and caffine

hello everyone. n2 congrats on the 30 days. and magic happy 3 year. i still think it is a very important bday. i celebrate it once. lol and i remember it was all about the desert. personally i loved the chocolate theme. so, i've worked more hours and had more breakdowns this week it was a wonder we are actually leaving. oh my gawd. and yesterday, i thought i lost the key to my open house. i was about in tears. made my client walk up and down the street with me. i always put about everything in my bra when i don't have pockets. but this was a new fandangled circ de sole vicki secret bra and when i reached in no key. oh god and me leaving and the key is this like $50 key. anyway, i prayed alot when i got home. unsnyched myself and out came the key. guess it just maneuvered itself inside the bra where those stupid pillows were supposed to go. but uh i don't need those. so yeah, i mailed the key to client. so, i am jumping in shower. writing contracts for 3 new clients and out the door i go. i'll call all rest of clients from the road and see if i can close those babies. barcelona here i come. i am sooooo happy. i'm so grateful for all of you. my new prescrip of meds. topa and mwo. this will be a nice happy sober holiday. first in many years. i'll check in when i hit turkey ya all. love ya bootsie

Morning everybody !!! I just got out of the shower to get ready for work when work called to say I have the day off.... They just aren't busy even a little and I'm afraid they may not float this boat afterall...She felt bad telling me about not needing me today but I understand.. She will call to let me know later today when they will need me... I feel bad for them, they've worked sooo gosh darn hard to make a go of it, but it's just so hard for a little town. Looks like I'll be able to kick back and get some house work done... Hubby has the day off too. Here in Canada it is a Stat. holiday. Morrison thanks I'll check that out , now you got me curious... I just thought of a good saying Gramma used to say " What is meant to be, will be".. She was a very wise lady. Hugs to all !

Niblet, I was right about the band, but the name of the song is "Bitter Suite." From an album called Misplaced Childhood that came out in 1985. I don't know if you could find the song online anywhere.

At an online translater, I type "I hear you heart" and translated from English to French. The resulte was "j'entends votre coeur." Pretty close. Obviously, the lyrics I found on the song were off a bit. Now it makes sense. He sings the line in French, then in English. j'entends votre coeur, I can hear your heart.

Bootsie, we have to plan to meet up with More2 also, a girls trip...lol....Nibs, I e-mailed you earlier, so you know I wuv you too...Bear, take care, and I'm glad you showed up, you know we get an insecurity attack when we don't hear from our Papa! More2....wahhhhhwhoooooo.....4 more days! And I'll help ya find a new casa....hubby's son may wanna look too....is the BBQ on Fri? or Sat? Hope its Sat., since we'll just be getting there on Fri., and can't really "loose the kids" that fast....lol....any way, we have our walk Sat. am, and massages Sunday, and we have to have a dinner with all us girls and our Old Farts....lol....my hubby can't wait either, you'd think he was meeting long lost relatives too...he figures he'll get sympathy from your hubby, and BIL!....lol....They are so lucky to have us, but we're lucky too! Good Morning everybody !! ah Morrison that does make alot of sense...My silly kitty insists on being on my lap, giving my typing hands sandpaper kisses today... Crazy Alley-oop !! She is also my personal trainer LOL. You girls are gonna have a Hoot !!! Yes, if you could get some pictures we'd love to see them !
I did make up my mind to give what little shift there are to the other girls.. My boss told me to come back anytime and I told her if she gets caught in a bind to call me... It just "feel" like the thing to do.. Some of those girls are single Moms and I do have my caffetia job in September to look forward to. I do feel a sense of relief.. Strange sorta.
So this morning I told hubby that today "I'm gonna do something fabulous" giggle giggle,, then he said, "does it involve a stove " ? haa !! haaa !! What is it with men and their stomachs ? Teeee !! Heee !!
Hats off to you More2, I would not be able to do what you do,,, I hate to move... We've been in this old farmhouse now for 14 years and have not inclination to uproot... You are an amazing woman !!

Hello All, I know that this is such a busy time of the summer and alot of people are away, so I thought I'd just drop by and bump our thread a little... I spent most of the day in town with our older son doing some clothes shopping and having lunch.. Not quite so hot these days but dryer than a popcorn fart as my father-in-law would have said, (bless his heart) he didn't take care of himself and chose the bottle over life.. He passed away a very very sick man at the age of 47. At the time he seemed sooo old because he didn't look well atall atall atall. Anyhow, I hope that everybody is doing well even though they are soo busy.. Hugs,

Niblet, your FIL passed at 47? Harsh. My uncle passed at 48 and left two very young children behind. Way too much beer, stress, and bad food, more beer. I worry for my youngest at times. Her father is 42 and looks sicker than sick. He has abused alcohol and drugs since he was 13. Not to mention he has Crohn's disease and had his large intestine and bowel removed. Poor kid just idolizes him. Anyway....

Ha !! Ha!! Glad you liked that AC , I'm so so sorry to hear about that 42 year old fella that is so very sick ! Oh my Goodness ! And to have children and all, just too sad you know... This world just doesn't seem fair sometimes. My heart aches for people and mostly animals in situations that are beyond their control. What to do...
I'm truely happy to see you drop by.. Yep "Poppsy has been gone now for (I have to do the math,,, ) 21 years now... He never got to see his grandchildren which is soo sad... We have always said that what is meant to be will be, but it's still tough... Really nice to "see" you AC. (or would you prefer accountable or accountableforme ? ) Take care...
