Hey Guys! Got a couple of e-mails out, and logged on a couple of times, and got the boot.... Last Sat. night I was at More2's, and her hubby was cooking for us, dang I miss him!... LOL I'm on grill duty tonight, and wish you were ALL here with me! We are trying to stay afloat, but we're saturated already, and haven't got the hay in yet, big diaster.....we are bracing for the storm....we're only about 2+ hrs from Houston....so prayers for us PLEEEEZZZZZ......if it gets too bad, we will get outta here, so watch out Seattle area!!!! I'm trying the Chantrix too....with an LO am/pm....this is just day one, but I've done really good except one evening in ages, so that's progress, and the one evening wasn't a "biggie", but a personal goal not met thing.....so I'm looking forward to catching up with my Sis in crime, and being AF......Bear, glad you are a bit better, Nibs, I know you are having a time, LUV you know I love you, and I guess since I'm the trophy wife, I need to review the ins. policies around here....esp. if I'm hanging out with More2....lol....they probably won't let me have any unless its accidental death, cuz of the cancer, but I better check the hubbys....morbid tho huh!!!! I think I'm going to further my education this fall, I need to decide what to be when I grow up, since I don't want to be a Dental Hygienist anymore, or travel alone selling "drugs"....I better decide 'fore I'm too blind to read!!! Something in the alternative health care field....wonder how long it'd take me to be a Naturopathic Dr., or Homeopathic Dr., then I could cure us all.....(opps, better start at home first....lol)....Love all of you....if you see a blonde and gray-headed guy flying thru the air, screaming, grab them, it'll be US.....

Oh and yes, thank goodness for built-in floaties, never thought they'd be an emergency piece of equiptment, but looks like it now!!!!!.....Good thing they are seawater already, it'll go with the rest of the coast washing over us....wahhhhhhhhh......Think ins. will start paying for them in the coastal states for 911 requirements...???....signing off....TIT....lol...

More2 and Tex...yeah ins. policies are morbid and ya don't want to think abour it, but bury someone you love suddenly that DOESN'T have one and man oh man. Your grieving, and the cost of a funeral is not cheap. I took out one for each of the kids too, very small ones, just enough to pay for a funeral... they'd have to just bury me with them if that happened!!!!! You hate to think about, but I would hate it more to think I died and left my kids broke. Their Daddy would not keep them up like I have...UNLESS I leave him a fat wallet, so should that happen...my babies are cared for financially.

Tex, goodnight, don't float away on us....we haven't met yet! I am just dying to! I can't wait til we all meet someday.

So glad to hear the Chantix is working. It is so much better than the Topa for side effects, glad they came out with an alternative. Topa is great, but so many can not tolerate it.

SO SO SO...I went to a bird show today. I went to pick-up 3 sets of breeder lovebirds...they are ALL so PRETTY. BUT, guess what else I got...a dolphin cockatoo. Her name is IRIS, she is 14 weeks old. I LOVE HER! She is big and beautiful....I am offically an avairy now. HA HA She is still a baby so she has training still to behave herself, but she likes to cuddle and have her head scratched. I can rock her like a baby...so funny! I can tell you one thing there will be no sleeping late in my house, cause when the sun rises, so do the birds!

It is a beautiful day here on the high ground of Texas. Really humid, but beautiful. It is a good day to be alive and sober. I just realized that yesterday I was officially 4 months AF. Luv, you must have made 4 months last week, so congrats to you. In some way it seems normal to not be drinking. I am thankful for so many things, especially all of you here at MWO for helping me to a better life.

Still here guys...Bear, you are on higher ground....lol...I may stop at your place on the way to More2's if things get rough....lol....I can't wait til I grow up and can be just like Bear and Luv...I think I may advance to 1st grade after all soon! Just a laid back Sunday here, went out to a late breakfast, did a lil driving around in the country admiring God's country 'fore it floats off...I gotta get my plans for the Ark down soon...God knows I have enough animals to fill it! Just piddling around, kinda nice, the sun has peeked out for a bit, so I think I'll got soak up a few rays, gotta keep my Calif. tan going!! Love you all sooooooo much!

Oh yeah...4 months AF!!! I met the goal August 14th. So, here we head to month 5. I am off topa now....no cravings at all. I still have LO as back-up and topa stash if I need it though. But, I feel GOOD. It was starting to bother my eyes. Not real bad, but it is a strong drug that I hope I don't have to take forever. BUT, I will if it means staying sobber. Hell, I can't see drunk either! It is a far better alternative than drinking.

Congrats to you too Bear! Never thought we'd see the day sometimes, huh. But, darn it we are doing it.

Tex, you are doing GREAT...everyone is. We really have come along way together. I can't wait for Bootsie to get home. Good grief, how long was this cruise anyway?

Love you all...been cleaning all morning and have to finish up so we can head to Walmart for school supplies.

Hello everybody !!! Bear and Luv, Congratulations to you guys !! Hats off to you !!!! YOU GUYS ARE TOTALLY AMAZING !!!! 5 months here you come !!!
Well I've been reading and reading for the last while and did I ever miss alot in 2 days !!!
We managed to get our woodshed half full which will be more than enough for this winter.. YAHOO!!! It doesn't seem like work when you are plugging away side by side with your best friend... No Cody stayed at the barn with Milley LOL !!! I meant my hubby .. ha !! haaa ! tee!! hee!! (I always call Cody my best friend) We didn't get working on the beach sand because we had a late start to camp on Friday... After I talked with you guys we bumped into a neighbour in town that had a mare that had stepped on a nail.. 2 days prior... urrggg!!! (Why people would wait until it is sooooo close to being almost too late !!) They were on their way to a funeral not to a store to get antibiotics before it closes at 5:00...( Mares foot plus half of her leg was swelled waaayyyy up and HOT... I cut my shopping real short, stopped where I could pick up some antibiotics ( Tex, I actually found some that was a long acting 72 hour until next injection...Then soaked her foot with peroxide ) Long story short, I played vet before going to camp... She is getting around much better but on Friday she was actually just laying down to keep all weight off her swollen sore leg/foot. She likely would not have made it without meds I'm quite certain. Poor ol' gal.
I really pray for the sun to dry up some of the ground for you Tex, I'm really beginning to worry about you. This is the weirdest year for weather! We have a brown lawn now. Our pool has to be topped up almost every single day and I've never seen soooo many grasshoppers as this year... Our chocolate lab has gotten a taste for them and I gotta tell ya !! It gives her the worst breath in the world !! YUCK!! It is kinda funny to watch her trying to catch them though.. Especially when the grasshoppers are near the edge of her underground fence. She'll be going along and then WHAM !!! Stop dead in her tracks !!
Luv, will your bichion be having her puppies soon?
Today we got home early from camp, did barn chores and then went for a nice walk over to the neighbours. Hubby BBQ ed chicken while I did the rice and corn in the house. Sometimes a plain old chicken dinner tastes sooo yummy !!!!
Morrison, you Avatar says that you are "lonely", I know that feeling and wish I could give you a hug my friend... You aren't alone . We are here with and for you now and always.

Lordy Mercy Nibs, I'm tuckered out just listening to your treks of late!!! I hope the mare does ok, did they give her a tetanus antitox...hope so!!! I swear, if you put the horses in a padded cell to keep them safe, they'd eat the walls and colic....mine will get into everything and anything within miles....whew....wears you out, good thing they are worth it!!! Hope eveyone is having a wonderful Sunday, I'm off with a friend in the morning to Dallas, we're helping a friend pick out granite...ok, its my old boyfriend from 20 yrs ago, that is still a friend of ours....weird huh....lol...he's building a new house and can't find his ass with both hands on picking stuff out...and he's a home builder...but HIS is different, so we're getting a major, expensive lunch out of the deal, and he's getting granite installed by weeks end...lol...then we're going to get organic stuff and fish at Whole Foods, and pick up medical equiptment for her nephew that has MS....he's soooo sweet and cute, and its sooo sad...for years, and don't tell, pre-911, we all used to go to Cancun and Cozumel and sneak experimental drugs back for him, that the FDA wouldn't approve here, it kept him out of a wheelchair for years, so it was worth it...anyway, a girls trip/day out!!!....Whaaaawhooooo....if only More2 was here to go too, and LUV and NIBS, and Boots, geeezzzz, she'll never get her land legs back...!!!! I think More2 and I are going cruising after the first of the year, but maybe not the Virgin Isles, since they may be gone, but heck, someplace!!!! It'll be my hubby's Christmas present, since the BOAT DEAL fell thru...lol....Ya'll have a great evening and I'll check in when I get home from Dallas!

Nibs, my little Shitzu, Sarah is her name, had her babies 2 weeks ago. Forgot to post it. She had 4, they are SO cute. Not doing much yet, but their eyes have started to open, so soon they will be TROUBLE. Cute trouble though!

Morrison, how I wish I were cured. It is easier and the longer I go, the more I want to stay this way..SOBBER. But, I still have days where I could just drink a nice bottle of wine and be real happy doing it...I just know it would not be a good idea. The cravings still come, I have just learned how to fight them I think. They don't last long normally, so that is good.

Have fun Tex...I don't think it is weird at all. If you had wanted to be together , you would be. Doesn't mean though that you do not care about each other and should not have a friendship. I think it is great! I have a very close friend that is an ex. I have known him since I was 14 yrs old. We were together from age 14-21...I would really miss him. Couldn't live with him, but I still love him, as my friend.

i wanted to check in and say hello. i'm about ready to shore it for awhile. yeahhhh. i'll be in venice by this afternoon. it is 9 a.m. here and i'm so happy to be on shore for awhile. wahooo. st. mark's square here i come. i was in istanbul the day the little hijacker wanted to hijack that plane. crazy guy. i have to say loved turkey more than just about anything. but can anything compare to italy? uh nope the pasta is like well you could swim in it. yep, there is no explaining eating their pasta. i am way sick of cruise food. hahahaha you just stop eating it after awhile. my family though of men are not sick of it and have been grazing like 10 times a day for meals meals meals. and my father in law dresses up to the nines for every show and well the ladies love him. my hubby has been way sick and i've carted him off to emergency dr. twice now. i'm sick too but you know the bootsie has to stay strong or who would take care of hubby. so i've gone off adventuring even with fever and such. you have to med up for the cruise lines i now see. dr. said she has seen oh 800 of the 2500 passengers????? umm can you say epidimec? yep hubby hasn't been this ill in 10 years. but, my nephew and i have seen it all and well, then walked like 60 miles on this trip. hahahahaa and has been really swell to hang out with him as he is so mature for his what 25 years old? haven't been able to read much of hte threads but morrison wanted to say i'm sending you lots of bootsie love. tex have a great lunch and you all will have such fun cruising. sending nibs and my girlie luv bug lots of love. bear hope you are getting your strength and energy back. and magic wherever you are hugs to you. okay, off to save a real estate deal and then go play nursey. haha sending venetian love to my family. did you know that venice is woven together by 118 small islands? yep i just learned that today. and i'm definitely getting on a gondola and having them sing an italian something to me. and of course more pasta. ohhh i think i gained a bit of weight. hitting gym on my return. smiles

So good to hear from our Bootsie this morning, this makes my day. Was wondering how it was going. Sorry everyone is ill though. I am going cruising in December. ALL BY MYSELF. Just a few girls from work going. I need a break! We will be gone 5 days. I figure December is good..no baseball or volleyball, etc for the kids going on. So, help with them and Mama will be easy to find. Already have it lined up....think I want this break??? HA HA

My daughter found out yesterday she made volleyball again this year. She is like 5'7" so she makes a good player. She is only 13. Tall!!! AND STILL GROWING! UH...

Little man has open house tonight, he is very excited. Got the teachers he wanted, so we are off to meet them.

GOTTA JUMP IN THE SHOWER AND GET MY HINNY TO WORK. MONDAY I HIT THE DOOR RUNNING.....

Good Monday all my Wonderful family !! So good to hear from you Bootsie !! Sorry about the intestinal stuff that is going on though... urgg.... that gotta be the s***s ! oops! sorry!! I'm soooo relieved guys !!! The mares leg looks a tad bit better and she is getting around alot more now ... Looks like she will make it !! I'll be going over to give her one more antibiotic injection on Thursday and the farmer has been soaking it daily... Poor ol' gal.
Today I made a lazy gal supper in the slowcooker, pork roast, carrots and potatoes.... Smells yummy !!
Luv, silly me !! I forgot that your Sarah was a shitzu... her puppies must be soo cute. Your home would be an absolute hoot to be at !!! I love all animals both furred and feathered !
Ohhh Tex !!!! I got my LO today !!! Our black lab and our chocolate lab were both out in the yard with the delivery arrived... The fella said to me , " I thought they were gonna eat me " I didn't miss a beat, " Oh , nope I fed them breakfast already" Ha !! Haaa !! Then I explained to him that they are merely my doorbells when they are outside... They only make noise. Thank-You so much for the candle too... Smells kinda like peach.. I've placed it appropriately enough in the upstairs bath that is right around the corner from the office where I'm sitting right now.. I can smell it !!! Beautiful ! I won't burn it but will just keep it . I need a tubby as I just finished my workout and I kinda don't smell real nice right now... See ya all later !! Hugs, P.S.
