Hello and Happy Humpy everybody, Yep My special agent goat is just laying low today after a busy night last night...
We had a HUGE thunderstorm last night that rocked the house and even lost the power. Now maybe our grass will turn green again...
I would love to be a bridesmaid too... Luv could grow all the fresh flowers for all the arrangements...

Amelia, I'm caring for my neighbours farm and they have some cows.. I was talking to them and told them, "Amelia would give her eye teeth to meet them in person" They are soo curious with those big beautiful eyes, and wet noses... I love all animals...
Even have 3 ducks, 1 being a male with 2 girlfriends, so .. I called him " Lucky".. LOL
I gotta get my butt in gear, my kitchen is messy... still from this morning... urgg.. I wish there was such thing as a "kitchen fairy"... Hugs,

Hello Family

Hello to my extended family. Just checking in. I'm keeping busy. I joined the boxing gym today, and I'm a bit scared. I got all my gear and took a tour. I came home, jumped rope for a bit, then wailed on the heavy bag until I was tired. My stamina is so low. I figured I am going to embarrass myself a bit. I spoke with a trainer, and he gave me a breakdown of my first day tomorrow. I'm gonna die. I'm a bit scared of passing out. No joke. Boxing is so intense. I probably should get in better shape before going, but I figured I wouldn't push myself. I'm also worried this will expose how out of shape I really am. It could either motivate me, or bring me down. Well, I'll know after work tomorrow. Take care everybody. I'll check in if I can still breath. :jumpin: :boxer: :baaah: :boxer:

Don't get embarrassed if you are out of shape, that is what you are there for, to get INTO shape.

Sounds like a really fun way to exercise. I am jealous, with travel it is impossible to join a gym.

I would love to take dance lessons. Exercise and fun all wrapped up together. Oh well. Someday I'll get a regular job where I can stay in one place and do some of those fun things in the evenings.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Oh heck, nobody starts out boxing in great shape I'd bet, remember poor ol Rocky....esp. in the last movie.....lol....sound like a great thing to throw yourself into, instead of a bottle! Yeah Man! Let us know how it goes...just don't break your typing finger! Bear, no kidding, we miss you!!!! You know we can't go long without you!!! And Bootsie...geeeezzzzz, More2...you don't think she hurled back a bottle and fell in do you???????......(please don't let it be me!).....Nibs, you rock too, and LUV, we're going to take you up on that bridesmaid thing, cept me and More2 wanna pick out our own dresses, I really might want to wear it again....lol.....that would be a HOOT now wouldn't it, we'll throw LUV a wedding someday!!!!! I had to quit taking my Chantix, I'm a big 'ol whoosie....couldn't handle the side effects, so ya'll keep your fingers, eyes and toes crossed for me, I gotta gut it up and do it with supps...I think after all the surgeries, and not taking any Rx's for so long, but having sooooo many CAT scans, MRI's with contrast down the hatch and up the veins, I think my system is real sensitive...its been overloaded for 3 yrs. with radioactive iodine...guess I'm going to have to purge the system to take anything on a reg. basis....wahhhhhhh......so, here I go, trotting off without meds....lol.....

Hi all,
I've been reading your thread for a week or 2 and like the family feel. Thought I might like to post here sometimes. Morrison, your boxing story makes me think of myself last week. The arts center here is having an exhibition for locals. I had a metal sculpture I made at work I wanted to put in it but was scared. I've never put any of my stuff in a show or tried to sell it. I just give it away to friends. I wasn't sure of how to enter it. Like do I just take it up there and then what? I get really freaked about going into situations that I'm not familiar with.So I finally took it up there and was so nervous my hands were shaking when the guy handed me the paperwork.Hope he didn't notice. Now they are having a "meet the artist" reception next week before the opening and I'm really scared about that. But I really want to do this.But really, I'm terrified about that reception. Later, I gotta go cook. bird

I haven't been to the thread to read up, but I will try tonight. I really miss all of you, but this is what happened last time I was sober, I got so busy I didn't keep up with the great support you guys give me, and I ended up drunk for months again. I don't want that to happen again, plus, you all are family and I need you. I know whatever I have to do, I have to stay AF. So I will start making more time for myself starting today.
